Hermione's POV
"Okay, boys. We have to stop Snape. We have to try and get Hagrid to tell us how to get past Fluffy, without him finding out why we need to know."
Harry groans. "Hagrid is going to hate us."
I nod. "Probably for a while...but he will forget about it after we save the stone from Snape."
Harry sighs, "Okay, let's go."

"Morning Hagrid!" I called as we walked down the trail.
Hagrid smiled as he saw us. "Well, hello there you three. What are you up to?" He gave us a wary glance, "No Belle today?"
I looked at Harry and Ron, ignoring his question about Belle and getting straight to the point. "Hagrid, I'm doing an extra credit assignment and its on three-headed dogs. Can you tell me a little about them?"
Hagrid frowned, "An assignment, eh? Well, I can't pass up an opportunity to tell about the three-headed dog."
I nod encouragingly. "Okay, let's hear it!"
Hagrid went on and on about the three-headed dog and I was only half listening when he said, "To get away from a three-headed dog, you have to play a harp, so that the dog will go to sleep." It was like he realized he said something wrong because he gasped. "Oh, I shouldn't have said that. No I shouldn't have. You three had better go. Good luck on yer assignment there, Hermione."
I nodded, "Hagrid, one more thing. Could I run inside and say hi to Fang really quickly?" He nodded, not even remotely paying attention. I run inside and pat Fang on the head as I quickly search for the harp Hagrid was playing a couple days ago. When I found it, I shrunk it down using a spell and put it in my pocket. I said goodbye to Fang and walked out. "Thank you Hagrid! Talk to you soon!"
He nodded. "Goodbye you three."

Ron's POV (<-New POV!)
"Hagrid said a harp is what we can use to get past Fluffy. So, I went inside and grabbed his harp, so we could use it." Hermione pulled out a miniature harp.
I snickered. "How are we going to use that thing to get past a giant dog like Fluffy?"
Hermione rolls her eyes. "Well, Ron, it's really quite easy. Hagrid said that a harp will make any three-headed dog fall fast asleep upon hearing it. So when we play this harp using a spell to keep it from stopping..."
Harry gasps in realization. "It will make Fluffy fall asleep and then we can go through the trap door Fluffy is guarding. Hermione, you are a genius."
She grins. "Thanks."
I roll my eyes. But then it dawns on me. "Wait, we are really going back in that room with Fluffy?" My eyes widen. "No way...not happening."
Hermione sighs. "Ron, stop complaining about something as simple as this."
I gulp. "Oh yeah...trying to get past a feral three-headed dog...top of the list when it comes to easy tasks."
Harry grins. "Let's go then."
