Harry's POV

"Hagrid! You have to believe us! We read about the stone and Nicholas Flamel-"

"How do yeh know about Flamel? Oh, wait, yeh read about the stone. Sorry, continue." Hagrid relaxed a bit.

I shook my head. "Hagrid, Snape wants the stone because he wants to be immortal and live forever. Or worse, help Voldemort come back."

Hagrid shook his head. "Now that was too far, Harry. Snape would never work for you-know-who. He is a brave and caring teacher! That is why he works at Hogwarts!"

I sigh. "Okay." I nod at my two best friends. "Let's go."

They nod and we all say goodbye to Hagrid and walk back to the castle. We walked into the Gryffindor common room to see Belle cuddling up with Oliver Wood! Team captain for the Gryffindor Quidditch team. Belle was quick to move away as Hermione gasped.

Oliver looked over calmly, while Belle was red in the face with embarrassment. "Uh, hey guys. I thought you would have stayed longer at Hagrid's."

Hermione pointed at the stairs to their dorm. "Can we talk, Belle? Now?"

Belle nodded and smiled at Oliver who kissed her on the cheek before she stood and ran over to Hermione, following her up the stairs.

Ron and I share a look before sitting on either side of Oliver.

"So, Belle, huh?" Ron questions calmly.

Oliver grins. "Oh, yeah. She's spectacular. I've never met a girl like her."

I narrow my eyes at him. "I don't want you dating her, but I can't do anything about her decisions. So I'll say this...hurt her and you will be answering to me. And most likely a lot more people. Be warned." Ron and I glare at him a little longer before walking up to our room.

Belle's POV

"Hermione, did you see the love in his eyes? He just gets me." I sigh dreamily.

Hermione groans in disgust. "Belle, you are blinded by your sadness over Fred."

I blanked a little, "Who?"

She rolls her eyes. "Fred Weasley...ex boyfriend?"

I nodded. "Ah, the traitor. I remember him."

Hermione sighs. "Remember how you felt seeing him and Angelina snogging?" I nodded. "How do you think he will feel after he sees you and Oliver all gushy and lovey?"

I examine my nails, bored. "I don't care what he thinks. We aren't dating anymore, and I'm sure we aren't even really friends. We haven't talked in months."

Truth be told, I still wore the necklace he gave me for Christmas. And I noticed him and George still wear their matching bracelets. So we must still be on somewhat good terms.

"Belle, I think you are taking this way too far. I can't make decisions for you, but really, think this through. Oliver is three years older than you. Fred, he's one year older. Just...think it through, okay?" She looked at me seriously.

I sighed and nodded. "Okay, let's get some sleep."

Hermione sighed and nodded, turning out the lights. "Goodnight Belle."

I closed my eyes. "Goodnight Mione."

Two weeks later

I had thought my relationship with Oliver through for two weeks and I have come up with the decision to continue seeing him. He helped me forget and he really made me happy.

I was walking down to dinner, hand in hand with Oliver, when I heard someone clear their voice behind us. I turned around, Oliver stepping protectively in front of me. That made me smile a little. I peeked around him to see Fred Weasley, a face I hadn't seen in a while.

"Fred? What are you doing here?" Oliver asked, unaware of the anger burning in the red head's eyes.

"I could ask you the same question, Wood." Fred practically snarled.

I glared at Fred. "Leave us be. We are walking to breakfast...as boyfriend and girlfriend. So you can just continue whatever you were doing before we interrupted you. Goodbye, Fred." I smiled sweetly at him before linking arms with Oliver and walking toward the Great Hall.

Oliver smiled and kissed my forehead. "Took care of that quite well, didn't you?" His accent was thick. Did I mention that I also loved his Scottish accent?

At dinner, I sat next to Oliver and George. I slowly ate my dinner, thinking about what happened in the hall. Fred and I don't talk for months, and suddenly he is just...back in my life? I don't think so, Weasley.

When everyone finished dinner, I followed the Gryffindors out of the dining hall and back to the common room.

Oliver pulled me to the couch and we sat next to each other, working on homework. "So, I know that you and Fred had a thing before we started dating...anyone else besides him I should be worried about killing me?"

I giggled. "Ollie, he won't kill you. He is just...mad that I won't talk to him."

Oliver gave me his dazzling smile. "I can see why he is upset. A pretty girl like you not wanting to talk to him? He's missing out."

I rolled my eyes playfully. "Oh, stop. You're embarrassing me."

Oliver smiled and leaned in, giving me a gentle kiss on the forehead. I smiled happily, sighing with content. I looked down, once again noticing my schoolbook.

"We should probably finish our work, don't you think?"

Oliver sighed and smiled at me. "Of course. As long as I get to spend time with you, I'm fine."

I smiled the rest of our homework session.
