Do You Mind If I Get That For You?

Teesha looked up and smiled as the tall fair skin man put his satchel in the compartment over their seat. Her eyes wandered to his ass as he moved stuffing the bag in, he sort of grunted which made her become flushed turning red in the cheeks. She smirked then fanned herself then looked down at her gleaming princess cut diamond wedding ring. It was adorned by the shiniest platinum band. She covered her left hand with her right and nervously sat and smiled at him as he sat beside her.

“Hello.” His smiled shined bright as he spoke.

“ Oh.Hi!” Teesha smiled looking down at her magazine

“I’m Jesse.” He reached his hand out to hers.

“I’m Teesha.” She smiled extending her hands as his fingertips touched her hand lightly. After the hand shake things became silent for a while she continued to read her magazine and he leaned his head back and rested his eyes. She would look out the corner of her eyes at him. She didn’t know why, but she had an attraction to him. It could be because the evidence that’s fallen in her lap leading to the trail of Michael’s deception. She squinted her eyes trying to get the thoughts of this stranger from her mind, but then he spoke making her forget all about her troubles for a moment.

“Hey.” He said softly as she watched his pink lips. “I was going to get something to drink. Did you want me to order for you?”

“I am a little thirsty.” She smiled.

“Ahhhh. Let me guess. A white wine.” His lips parsed as he smiled.

“Ummm.” She looked at her watch.” It’s a little too early in the day.”She grinned.

“Well… as long as this flight is. You’ll need something. Come on it’s not like you’re going anywhere for the next six hours.” He chuckled.

“Well… I guess you’re right.” She put her magazine down as her platinum ring sparkled in his eyes.

“Great!” He smiled wide and as the stewardess passed by he told her their drink order. “So what business do you have in Mississippi?” Jesse asked.

“I should be asking you the same thing. You don’t look like you have any family there? So what’s bringing you to the south?” Teesha asked taking the glass of wine as it was passed from the stewardess to Jesse then to her.

“It’s work related.” He told her.

“Oh. Is that all I get?” She said now a little tipsy after having drunk the entire glass.

“You’re done already?” He asked with a chuckle.

" I guess I am." She held  the empty glass looking at it. "It’s been a long week and a long day. I guess I needed it more than I thought.” Teesha exclaimed.

“Would you like another?” He asked.

“I probably shouldn’t.” She winced. “My hus…” She paused.

“You’re husband?” He reached out lifting her hand touching her ring. “He doesn’t like you drinking?” Jesse inquired.

“Well. We’re supposed to be trying for another child.” She sighed faintly.” But I’ll take another.” She said thinking of the mysteriously smart bitch who answered Michael’s hotel room phone.

“A child? Oh. I see.” He said taking a white wine from the tall cart as the stewardess passed by them.Teesha dranked a little then sighed. “Well…that was before...” She paused and then tears fell.

“Um. I didn’t mean to make you cry.” Jesse told her grabbing a few Kleenex tissues. She sniffled and wiped her nose with her sleeve. “You didn’t do anything. If anyone’s to blame it’s Michael.” She sighed.
