Chapter 36

"Twins"

Teesha left almost immediately to go shower the flowers with water. After finding a vase she sat the flowers inside it left the kitchen and sat the vase down on the table then picked up the folder off the table. She stood there as she heard the voices of Michael and Jesse...

"What the hell you doing in my house?"Michael asked walking further in the room.

Jesse chuckled. "Still got that nasty jealous streak."He laughed again. "I was asked to come. Anything else you need to know?" Jesse snapped back smartly.

"You never Learn. "Michael scoffed. "No matter what fantasy you believe to be in. Teesha is still my wife. I've kicked your ass more than once and you still don't seem to get it. You're not wanted here! Michael groaned.

"Your threats are funny as hell. You need to get use to this. I'm in Teesha's life and it's nothing that'll change that. Whether you want to face it or not Teesha and I shared something. I can't describe it,but something is there. "Jesse exclaimed.

Before Teesha walked in she cleared her throat in hopes it would at least calm the tension between those two. She smiled as she walked in and she told both men to have a seat. She was a little nervous,but she brought them here and she had to get this over with,so that in time she could deal with them both equally .

"Thank you for both coming and I hope that we all can be cordial adults about all that's happening here. I don't even want to get into the things that's solely the purpose of these circumstances, but it's no need in dwelling either."She sighed.

"Teesh, I'd give anything... "Michael sighed as she cut him off. She told him that she really needed to get through this. That she'd been going over this in her mind ever since she's found out and that she now have the courage to face them both,and to please bear with her. He nodded his head and Jesse grinned like the mistake of Michael speaking some how earned him extra 'Teesha points' She took a breath and a sip of tea then she continued talking.

"The question that remains is now whose the father of my baby. For a long time I wanted to believe that there was no baby,but once she started to kick I couldn't hide the fact that she existed. Finally being kidnapped and dealing with what happened there it made me care more. I even told Jarvis I was pregnant when he tried..."She sighed closing her eyes and took a breath so she wouldn't cry. But tears fell down her cheeks as she pulled herself together.She remained silent for another thirty seconds then stirred away from the kidnapping. "Now I can't deny her and I can't deny either of you the right to be a father." She said wiping the remaining tears as she stood up and passed them both papers from the folder."You'll find the answer to your questions there."She explained and sat back down silently.

Both Michael and Jesse read the papers. They read and read again and Jesse grinned as he stood up still staring at the papers. "Teesha."He sighed walking over to her kneeling down on his knees. "I'm going to be a father. Is this true? "He asked as he took her hands in his.Teesha remained silent as she looked over at Michael who read and continued reading to the very last page.

"Teesh. What's this?"Michael stood up. "I...I don't understand any of this. It couldn't be real. "He glanced over at her and Jesse.

Jesse stood up in defense of his fatherly rights. "Jackson,face the truth that's in black and white. This little girl belongs to me. What more proof do you need?" Jesse asked in a vulgar tone.

"I wasn't talking to you. THIS is between me and my wife. You should go!"Michael snapped as Jesse reached out and pushed his shoulder. In defense and Michael was always that way when it came to Jesse. He gripped Jesse by the collar and was about to land his left fist on Jesse's jaw. But as always Teesha saved another brawl from occurring. Well... she's often tried to prevent the inevitable, and this time she succeeded.
