"I Have a funny Feeling"
The next morning when, Michael had awakened Kimbra was long gone. He rolled over and inhaled the scent of her pillow. The faint scent of her perfume was all over the satin red case. He smirked pulling the covers back looking at his already erect manhood. He laughed thinking back to last night and all the positions they tried throughout the night. He got out of bed naked watching the sun as it rays hit the window pane, then thought about his wife and daughter. When his phone rung he flinched being startled out if his thoughts.“Yeah!” He picked the phone up in an almost irritated tone.
“Nigga. Where is you? I thought you wanted to talk business.” Jarvis yelped.
“Oh.’ Michael rubbed through his hair looking at the clock. “I’m sorry, Man it was a long night and…”
“Nigga. I could care less, but I do want to talk about this business deal. Thirty.” He said meaning if Michael hadn’t shown in thirty minutes he was leaving and wouldn’t discus shit else with him.
“I’m there.” Michael said hanging up getting a pair of jeans throwing them on, not having time to wash the scent of sex from his body. After throwing on a black t-shirt and his shoes. He grabbed his keys, gun and wallet and left his suite. The ride didn’t take long and Michael spotted the black SUV sitting in front of his phony doctor’s office. He got out with a black brief case and unlocked his door going inside turning on a few lights throwing his items on his desk. Moments later there was a knock on the door and Michael hit the buzzer releasing the door to open.
“The head doctor.” Jarvis laughed as he entered the office space taking his cigar from his lips. “Right on time too. I like that, Nigga.” Jarvis looked dead in, Michael’s face. “So Nigga what you want to talk about?” Jarvis said then puffed on his cigar blowing circles of smoke.
“Basically, I need some dope.” Michael said in one breath.
“Dope?” Jarvis looked around at his buddies.” Did you hear this Nigga?” He asked nudging one of the men with him.” Check him!” Jarvis shouted in a baritone voice.
“Hey. Didn’t we do this just the night before? I told you I’m legit.” Michael exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air.
“ Yeah.” Jarvis nodded. “But I still don’t trust your pretty ass. So we do this my way.” He stated.
“Fine.” Michael chuckled, as if something funny had been said. After the search was over Jarvis sent his men out and he and Michael began talking again.“Look. I have to do this. It’s nothing against you, but I have to protect myself. Dope. Huh? How much we talking?” Jarvis asked.
“I need about thirty keys.” He said with a straight face
“Thirty? That’s a lot of product. Uhhh… What you need that shit for?” Jarvis asked.
“Man. I’m not all in your business. So don’t be in mine. I need it. I mean…if you can’t help me. I’m sure my money will be good enough for someone else.” Michael said.
“Don’t whine like a bitch.” Jarvis chuckled puffing on his cigar. “When you need it?”
“Last week.” Michael said, smartly. “When can you deliver?” Michael asked.
“We’ll be in touch.” Jarvis said walking promptly to the door. “You just have my money let me worry about the when and the where.” Jarvis said walking out.
Michael fell back on the leather couch and exhaled deeply pulling his hair and a short time later he had fallen asleep only to be waken an hour later by one of his phones. After standing up gathering his thoughts he walked to the phone as the caller hung up. He then checked the messages that were left and made a call from one of the disposable phones.
