" Are You A Woman Or A Little Girl?"

Michael stood there watching as Kimbra left. He had no idea what she meant by that statement. Actually he sort of chuckled it off thinking she would very well get over it. After finally getting dressed and packed, Michael was headed to the airport for his long ride back to California. Immediately after Kimbra left the hospital she made several calls. Because she too had a destination to be.  After her numerous of calls to friends of hers she was on a one way jet to the city of LA….

“Teesh.” Michael said walking in the house.” Teesh, baby where are you?” Michael yelled out as he walked through the kitchen out of the sliding door.

WELCOME HOME!!!! The crowd screamed.

Michael smiled as he saw his siblings, parents and Teesha holding their daughter in her arms.” Babe. What’s all of this?” He looked around at the table filled with food and a huge cake as he walked to his mother hugged and kissed her then over to his siblings one by one hugging them, lastly over to Teesha and Le’Lani.” Babe you shouldn’t have did all of this.” He smiled hugging his daughter.” I missed my girl.” He said squeezing her tightly.

“Well, everybody was so happy about you returning and wanted to make a celebration out of it. So I just put something together as quick as I could.” Teesha smiled.

“It sure feels good to come home to all of you.” Michael said as he walked over sitting down at one of the tables.

The party lasted for about six hours and after all of the good byes, Teesha was left to clean alone. Not that the Jacksons wouldn’t help her, but she needed an excuse to sort of be away from, Michael. Her emotions were still running high over everything that transpired. “Michael just take our daughter upstairs and spend some time with her. She misses you, perhaps read her a book. “She smiled and kissed Le’Lani’s cheek as she rubbed her eyes.” She’s tired from all of the excitement.” She smiled.

“Yeah. I do need a little time with my princess.” He smiled. “I can come back soon as she’s down.” Michael suggested.

“No. I can manage. Besides the doctor only want you standing for so many hours at a time. I’ll see you in a little bit.” She said with a fake smile as she thought back and pictured Michael making love to Kimbra.

“Babe. You seem…I don’t know, but you do know I’m healing perfectly. I don’t want you worried about me. What happened in Mississippi is over. That part of my life is over. I’m home for good, baby.” He told her.

“I know, Michael. I guess, I’m just a little exhausted you know, but it’s nothing I can’t handle. Remember I’m a Jackson woman now and we’re survivors.” She smiled.

“Ok.” He smiled then looked at his daughter as she lay her head on his shoulder. “I’ll see you upstairs soon.” He told her walking away, but then stopped. “Teesh.” He said.

“Yes. Michael.” Teesha answered holding large garbage bag in her hand.

“I love you.” He said blowing her a kiss then exiting the pool area going inside the house.

Teesha smiled at that moment she couldn’t tell him something that she wasn’t sure of, so she didn’t say I love you back.  Especially after seeing Jesse today, with the way he kissed and held her. Not only the words he spoke to her, but her feelings towards, Jesse as well. After clearing everything out back and with hardly any dishes to wash with everything being already in tin foil pans she was done. She did still have the trash to unload. She looked at it. “It can wait till morning. Nah, it will nag me all night if I don’t.” She sighed grabbing the large bag going out the side door where the trash tins sat.  She closed the door behind herself the walked to the tin can dumping the bags. She heard the screams of a cat then something dropping.” All these strays I can’t believe it.” She winced as she closed the lid on the tin can and proceeded to her back door, but was startled when her name was called.
