Teesha stared face to face with Kimbra. She put her hand on the door and stopped it from closing. They shared silence, a strong gaze to each other then Teesha slowly released the door watching it close. She held her head down almost falling faint as Jesse caught her fall. She turned slowly looking up in his light eyes, “Jesse. What are you doing here?” She gasped and unbelievable sigh as he held her in his arms.

“Doing what I was meant to do. Coming to your rescue.” He smiled as she eased from his embrace.

“You.”She looked down.” You shouldn’t be here. I can take care of myself.” She nodded.

“I have no doubt that you can, but I know you needed someone and I want to be him.” He exclaimed.

“Michael…’ She looked down the hall.” He was wounded, but he’ll recover.” She told him.

“Not to be harsh, but I don’t care about him. Will you recover is what I’m concerned about.” Jesse reached out and took her hand. “I love you and I hate seeing you in this pain.” Jesse inched his way closer now cupping her cheek in his hand.

“Jesse.” She looked down pulling her hair behind her right ear.” You’re incredible in so many ways. I mean…what more can a woman ask for?” She smiled. “Loving me is a conflict all on its’ own. I know I’m quite pathetic, but apart of me loves, Michael. I guess, apart of me always will love him.” She expressed staring at him.

“You share something and it’s human to feel as you do, but Teesha. How long will you play his fool? He’s the puppet master and you’re letting him lead you.  Baby... I mean. I don’t want to disrespect you, but Michael only loves himself.” Jessed stressed.

“I know it seems that way, but we’ve been through a lot together. I know he loves me. I just don’t understand this … infidelity thing. I don’t get why her. I know in relationships things can happen. I can understand that and I can work through that, but this woman is pure evil. I caught her dressed in a doctor’s coat coming out of his hospital room. Does she not have any respect for me at all?” Teesha asked.

“No.  She has no respect for herself either. I just don’t want you falling for his lies. You should be taken care of, loved and cherished. If you were my lady I would treat you like the queen you are. There’s no ending to what I would give and sacrifice for you.” He told her as he stared very close to her face.

“Jesse.” She sighed.” Some woman will be so incredibly lucky to have you in her life. You’re such a beautiful man, such an open heart and have strong and enduring arms.” Teesha told him.

“You know exactly what you want.  I’m right here just take me.” He stroked her cheek with his thumb.

She looked down and bit her lip.” Jesse. You are so irresistible, but I’ve broken my vows twice, now I’m considering breaking them again. This isn’t appropriate behavior from a married woman. I don’t want to be like her. I don’t want to be this manipulating bitch like Michael’s mistress. I married Michael for better or worse. I take my vows serious, Jesse.” She shook her head

“I respect your feelings, but I refuse to stop loving you. I won’t stop being your friend either.” He told her.

“I…I should get back to, Michael. I… I have your number and I promise to stay in touch.” She stood on her tip toes and hugged his neck.

Jesse wrapped his arms around her held on to the small of her back for dear life then their lips touched and their tongue entangled briefly then they pulled away. Teesha smiled at him, their hands became lost in the others and soon the tight grip that each held on to released. Teesha wiped her nose with her sleeve as she made her way back to Michael’s room.
