2/1/16
Today is my birthday. It's Iris and Wes's too, and we kept our promise to celebrate together.
This is also the last page in this journal, which means it's time for another one pretty soon.
I am surrounded by people that love and care about me. I am home.
Like Wes told me that winter day, you have to listen to your heart. And I did.
Unfortunately I had to say goodbye to Dad for a bit, but we talk over the phone and write quite often.
I'm starting my junior year of highschool next year alongside of my best friend Iris, and my boyfriend Wes. (Yes I know!! So exciting!)
Erica has invited all the people we know and love throughout the town to her house for Iris and I's birthday. We're all in the backyard right now, eating, laughing, and just being happy.
I hope this feeling will never go away. For once in my life it feels like everything is solved. And I even though I can't predict the future, I have a pretty good feeling I'm finally healed, and my rubber bands won't snap any time soon.
See you around!
With Love,
Silvia.
