Staten Island, New York

Kastynn

Rubbing soft, smooth circles around Ti'Ron's tired and restless backside, the only sound that could be heard was his sniffling cries.

We were currently visiting his mother's gravesite in Staten Island, his main hometown of New York. Even though he had been back and forth between New York City and Staten Island his entire life, his passion and deep roots were set and planted in this beautiful city.

There was nothing more or nothing less than he wanted for his mother to be at peace, and Staten Island was where she was most peaceful-- according to her and Tyrone.

Today of July twenty-fifth is the day in which makes a whole year since Ms. A'Lexis Lorraine has been dead and gone from our lives. She was a peaceful woman, and well rounded individual who wanted and longed for nothing more than for her three boys to be happy and well-rounded.

As for Jayden, she wished for his music career to take off and go far. And if not, if he were to change his mind, than she wishes for him to be the best she knows he can be.

She wanted Terrence to follow his dream in music production and make smarter choices when it came to his love for falling in love and being head over heels for women-- how ironic.

For Ti'Ron, he had already been on the path to fulfill his dreams and she couldn't have been more proud. But, once he turned to the bottle after her death, I knew she was turning over on her stomach in her grave.

Ti'Ron turns around to me and pulls me into his embrace, burying his head in my neck and crying softly. It ached my heart to see him this way, and it made me start to cry.

Ti'Ron places his chin on the top of my head and sighs loudly, rocking us back and forth. My hands and arms wrapped around his torso, as his arms were wrapped around mine.

"Please don't leave me alone, Kay, please." He cries to me, placing my face in his hands as his wet, teary eyes were streaming of hurt and pain.

I nod my head and pull his face into mine, pecking his lips twice. As we pull apart, I wipe away the tears from his face as he wipes away mine.

Once Ms. A'Lexis passed away, neither the three of them knew how to deal with the situation at hand. She was their rock, guide, and shield. You would have thought with Jayden being the youngest, and just entering his sophomore year in college, that things would not go over his head with his mother's death and it'd be the hardest on him.

But, that wasn't the case in this one. It hit Ti'Ron the hardest to where he had serious chest pains for a week, and wasn't able to stay at work for four full hours without breaking down and crying.

He was more than hurt, all three of them were in a serious state of terror and trauma once she passed away.

She had been ill for a long time and her doctor said she would not get well, and that it'd be best to 'let nature take its course'.

I spoke to Jayden on the phone a while ago, he and Terrence are currently on their way.

Ti'Ron sniffs and crouches down to his mother's grave, right when Jayden and Terrence both arrive in two separate cars. As they exit, I could tell the exact reason why Jayden decided to drive his own instead of riding with his brother.
