Only In Memory She Remains

(Y/N). She is the younger sister of Wadanohara(not by much though, only about a year. Wadanohara liked being a big sister!) Her brunette hair braided the same way her sisters had been, back then. Samekichi, one of Wadanohara's familiars left behind when she gave her life to the sea, was watching glumly as she played with Memoca and Dolphi.

Reader's P.O.V.

I was running around the boat with Memoca and Dolphi, us playing tag like we always did. Even...before the time my sister became a memory, we played like this. Sometimes I forget I am as old as I am, but I don't mind.

"Got'cha!!" Memoca yelled at Dolphi, who had stopped to poke at a bird who had perched itself on the side of the boat.

Dolphi jumped and whined, "B-But I...!"

Memoca stuck her tongue out and ran away. Dolphi then began to pout at the seagull girl who ran off.

"Hey, Dolphi! Tag me and I'll get her back for you!" I said, giggling.

She ran to me, and poked my hip as she giggled, "You're it, (Y/N)!"

I smiled and winked. She laughed silently and turned on her heel to poke at the bird again, only to find it wasn't there. She huffed and began to poke at Fukami, who was staring out at sea not to far from where we were.

I ran right toward where Memoca would have gone, only to realize-too late might I add-that she went hiding near Samekichi, whom she knew I have had a crush on since I met him. I blushed and squeaked as I almost collided with the saddened shark, who seemed to be in a LaLa Land of sorts. He snapped out of his daze and looked at me with a small blush on his face.

"U-Um...(Y/N) what are you doing?"

"I-I was trying to get Me-Memoca cause we were playing tag and she ran in here, I'm so so sorry!" I said quickly, looking anywhere but him.

I heard a slight chuckle, "You remind me so much of your sister, It's cute re-I-I mean...um...I-I said nothing."

I blinked and looked up at him, "What no you said something. You can't just say something and not finish it!"

He rubbed the back of his neck, "I said you remind me of your sister, that's all."

Didn't he like my sister? I thought. I mentally slapped myself, Yea, and he only likes her. He's been down in the dumps for a long time.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by him asking something.

"E-Excuse me? I couldn't hear you, I was kinda lost in thought!"

"O-Oh...well um...it's nothing, just go back to playing. She's in the closet next to the door in the kitchen," He replied.

I had an idea, just a small one. I blushed and pecked him on the lips quickly. I turned and ran into the kitchen before I could see his reaction. I thought it was nothing, that it was only me, it's just my way of confessing I guess.

Samekichi's P.O.V.

D-Did (Y/N) just kiss me..? I thought to myself, practically glowing red from the sudden contact she had made with me.

She doesn't...like me does she? No, she couldn't like me, I'm just a familiar from her sister. I shook my head lightly, trying to calm my nerves by looking away from her general area.

She reminds me so much of Wadanohara, is it possible I have fallen for her too...? Thinking that, I blushed a brighter red, touching my lips lightly as I did so, which only caused me to blush even harder. I hide my face in my hands, seeing that the red won't be leaving my face for a few moments.

As much as I love Wadanohara, I love (Y/N)...I chuckled, Wadanohara will live in (Y/N), in memory and personality....
