Following the events of The Batter, the Zones had changed for a while. Not many people live here, in any zone, anymore. I was one of the only people who lived in Zone 2 anymore, along with the store owner Zacharie, the Guardian, and two workers.

I had run out of things to eat, and the only way to get more was to go to the store, which, I only slightly didn't want to do. It's not because I didn't want to eat. No that wasn't it at all.

It was because I liked the store owner. He was so adorable and sweet to me whenever I was in the store.
I never really talked to him much, mostly because I got shy when I stepped into the store, but he would always approach me and ask how I was doing and if he could help me at all.

I sighed dreamily, absentmindedly walking toward the store when I ran into the door.

I held my head for a second, waiting for the slight pain to subside. I opened the door to be greeted with Zacharie.

"Hola amigo/a! Have you come to get more things for your house?"

I nodded and smiled gently, resisting the blush that was quickly raising to my cheeks.

"What would you like this time, (Y/N)?"

I looked up slightly, shrugging, "I-I'm not sure of what I want."

I lied to myself, I wanted him. My face flushed a dark red when I realized I thought of that.

He tilted his head and giggled underneath the toad-like mask he had on.

"O-oh nothing I was just thinking."

"Do you have any credits with you, (Y/N)?"

I realized I didn't, "No I don't."

He lifted his mask and smiled, winking at me, "Maybe just this one time I'll let you off the hook. Since you're so obviously my number one customer!~"

I blushed bright red, "A-Ah, Zacharie are you ah...okay?"

He snickered, "Oh, dear, sweet, (Y/N)," He walked up to me and taking my hand in his, "How are you so innocently and blissfully unaware that I have known you have fallen for me?~"

I gasped and hid my face, "O-Oh my goodness..!" I managed to stutter.

He lifted my chin to make me look at him, winking again and leaning in close to my face. I froze up and a slight squeak noise arose from my throat. He leaned closer and mumbled.

"This is payment, (Y/N). You know how greedy I can be sometimes."
