Show Me Love

There once was a boy who was made, not created. He wanted to learn, he wanted to indulge his senses, to understand pain. But most of all, he wanted to love. For only when he found true love, would he become real. He traveled far and long. But love eluded him...the humans that surrounded him complicated the word. Strove to drive it out of the world altogether.

And this, he could not understand; for what could be more simple than to be loved and love back in return?

He was made...with an 8-Bit Heart.

There Ivlis sat, a glum look on his face and a sad look in his eyes. His life hadn't been well.

He needed to be loved, he needed to feel like he is cared for. He left his former world, the Flame World. He had grown tired of it, the constant nagging if everyone and everything.

So, he just left. He told his closest underlings, Rieta, Poemi, and Emalf, that he was going on a vacation. It wasn't all wrong, that is what he was doing...just...not all the truth was given.

He was sitting at the beach, a beach in a world he didn't know existed, where no god nor devil ruled or was even present. No one was there with him, he chose to go out at night so everyone wouldn't freak out, he's seen what the habitants here look like, and they look nothing like what he is used to seeing.

No God, no Devil. No angels or demons. No magic or powers.

It was a stress free world he thought. His tail flicked in thought, then lied flat in the sand. He liked the way it felt, it felt relaxing. He dug his tail into the ground softly, smiling and yawning, listening to the water.

He thought for a moment about whether he should get in or not. Being made of fire, he was anxious that it would hurt him.

He was so lost in thought that he didn't hear someone walking toward him. She sat down quietly, studying how he looked. She thought he was a cutie, even if he was different, but she waited for him to notice that she was there before she said anything.

He snapped out of it when a little crab scuttled across his tail, the motions of the legs startling him out of his daze.

The girl giggled and covered her mouth, knowing she gave her position away. Ivlis jumped and fell back slightly, afraid.

"A-ah...who are you?" He asked, not wanting to cause any panic.

"I'm (Y/N). And you?"

He blinked and was taken aback slightly by her calm demeanor.

"Ah...Ivlis."

"Nice to meet you, Ivlis!" She said, the gleam of the moon reflecting in her (e/c) eyes.

"You aren't afraid of me?" He asked.

"Of course not! I think you're kinda cute! And you're alone and sitting in the beach I usually come to to swim at night!"

He froze and looked away, "I-I..."

She poked his cheek and giggled, "Where are you from anyway? You look way different from everyone here."

He smiled slightly and scratched the back of his neck. He began to tell the story of how he came here and why.

*Time Skip*

"You poor thing!" She whimpered and hugged him, causing the shy-ish flame devil to tense up.

"A-ah no it's, it's fine really."

She kissed his cheek and giggled, "You need to be shown kindness."

He blushed and watched as (Y/N) ran into the water, making splashing noises as she did so.

It was tempting to him, really. He wanted to get into the water, to see what it felt like.

(Y/N) looked back at Ivlis, waving and smiling.

"Come on! It's not that cold out here!" She yelled, giggling.

Ivlis just shook his head in return, looking down. (Y/N) made her way back to shore, her body now dripping wet from the salty ocean water.  She held out her hand.

"Come on!"

He looked at her hand for a moment, hesitating. Then, he took it and stood up.

"You've never been swimming before?"

He shook his head, "My father didn't allow us to. Well, me anyway. Since I was born from a flame."

She giggled and messed with his scaly hand, "W-Well. You're going to have to take your clothes off, e-except your um..." She fumbled with her words.

He knew what she meant, and blushes slightly.

"A-Alright." He began with his scarf-wings. He laid them on the ground softly. His shoes, duh.

Then his coat and over shirt. He stopped when he was to take off his shirt.

(Y/N) blushed deeply and looked away, covering her eyes and giggling.

He then took off his shirt, flinging it onto the ground below. Next, came off the pants. He was only left in his boxers, he was blushing like no tomorrow.

He cleared his throat, "(Y-Y/N) I'm done."

She giggled and blushed a dark red as she looked at him. Her heart fluttered, but she ignored it. She took his hand and ran toward the water. They reached it quite quickly, much to Ivlis' dismay. (Y/N) dragged him into the water, making it reach their waists.

He smiled slightly and looked away.

"Is there something wrong?"

"No. Not at all. Ah...just....not used to anything like this," Ivlis replied, sinking into the water, his hair flowing behind him. The red streaks made it look like snakes were in the water.

(Y/N) giggled and kissed his cheek, "I'll get you used to it! After all, everyone needs love, right!?"

Ivlis laughed and blushed, splashing her with water.

"I suppose you're right, (Y/N)."
