War Talk

I rolled my eyes for the third time this morning. Here in the Red Sea, we talk a lot about war, and that's what the conversation was about again currently.

"I coulda' had them though, you don't understand. I coulda' wiped those smiles off their pretty little faces." A grim and dark voice muttered.
That is Old, he's Mikotsu's head familiar. He used to be part of the Blue Sea, but he defected, and no one knows why.

"Yeah okay, Old. Sure, sure." Sal, his son, said non-apologetically, "Because I'm not the one who stole the pearl from them."

Old grumbled and rolled his eyes, turning to me and eyeing me, "You think that too, Lass?"

I blinked and shrugged, and he smiled slightly.

"Ah, c'mon you know you believe in me."

"She believes in you as much as the next  guy, but that does not mean that you were the one who did the dirty work."

We all looked over to see Mikotsu, our Queen. She snickered and placed her hands on her hips, "And Just because my newest subject has a small thing for you, Old, doesn't make her more liable to disagree with what she saw."

My face flushed red and I looked down at my feet, seeing how the tentacles around me curled up on their own because of my embarrassment.

"Loook! She's all red~ It fits right with the rest of us!" Mikotsu laughed and walked toward me, a smirk plastered to her face, "How about we lock you up in a room with him for a day~"

"W-What no no no—" I spluttered, covering my face.

She snickered, looked at Sal and Old, and then back at me.

"Let's totally do that, see where talk of war ends up for you, because Old can get a bit...dominant over his thoughts and lets them take over him..like instinct."

I flushed an even darker red as she picked me up without struggle, she carried me over her shoulder and looked back, snapped her fingers and said, "Come on, Old! It's been quite a while since you got this opportunity~"
