Eyepatch

I, as a nurse, have had to see some things. Many, many things. Some nice, like a small present on my doorstep for helping the patient become well again. Some bad, like when I had a patient with a strange case of a very very bad stomach flu.

But nothing could have let me prepare for this one.

"Nurse (Y/N)!! The Head Angel needs come care, right away!!"

I ran to the desk where I had heard the voice, "The Head Angel!? W-Wodahs?!"

The secretary nodded grimly, "His eye was ah..."

"OUT OF THE WAY GUYS!" A male yell was heard, him busting open the doors and running, getting the halls cleared.

I stared as Wodahs was brought in quickly on a gurney, a bloodied hand placed over his right eye.

I gasped and covered my mouth.

"He needs an eyepatch. A genuine one, and not like those fake ones from dress-up games."

I nodded, running to my room to sew him one.

~*Time skip*~

It has been a few hours, and I finally got a design that would fit him. I sighed slightly, putting down my sewing utensils and standing up, the eyepatch in hand.

I slowly walked to his room, careful not to wake up any other patient with the sound of my heels clacking against the marble floor.

I knocked on his door lightly, waiting for a beckon to come in. When I did, I opened the door quietly.

"Ah. Nurse (Y/N). Good to see you." He said, his voice soft.

I smiled and sat down beside him, folding my hands in my lap. He sat up, a hand still over his eye, despite it having stopped bleeding a while ago.

"Wodahs, I have it." I smiled, "You don't have to cover your eye anymore."

He smiled slightly, removing his hand, exposing the closed and bloodied socket.

"Does it still hurt any?"

He shook his head.

"Would it be okay if I put it on then?"

He nodded.

I leaned forward and placed it over his eye, "Hold it there please."

He gently held it in place. I smiled and tied it behind his head.

"How does that feel?" I asked.

"Better."

I nodded and kissed his forehead, blushing myself at my own actions. I did like him, yes. But I did this out of kindness...maybe a little because I like him.

He smiled and blushed, a rosy pink returning to his pale face.

"Thank you, (Y/N)."

"You're very welcome! Now, I should let you rest. Goodnight, Head Angel." I replied, getting up and walking out, quietly closing the door after me.

I walked back to my own room, sighing a bit too happily, and sat in my chair.
