Chapter 19: Betrayal

(Your POV)

Your mind became numb.

When he stopped kissing you, he smiled at you and say the words that make your heartbeat fast.

"I love you, (y/n) please go out with me"

"Finally your awake"

You looked at Persian and he gave you a confused look.

"What happened?"

"I dreamed a strange dream"

You place your hands in your head. You're still confused and you can still feel your heart beats faster.

"Calm yourself first" Persian said

"Gray is waiting outside this room" he said.

When you heard his name, you remembered what he did to you in your dream.

"Why are you blushing?"

You shook your head and stood up and went outside the room.

"Hey"

You looked at the guy at the side and suddenly, you start sweating and did not hesitate to back off.

(Gray's POV)

While waiting outside her room, suddenly the door opened and saw (y/n).

I called her but I was confused when she was sweating and suddenly back off.

I stepped forward and she backed off.

"Did I do something wrong" I said with a worried expression.

Her facial expression changed. She shook her head while blushing.

'How she acts this time is so cute. I want to squeeze her but I know it's not a good thing to do'

"Do you want to get some fresh air"

She nodded and we started to walk.

While walking I realized that she was walking behind me. She's acting strange today but I don't know what to do to calm her down. I stopped and faced her.

"Your acting strange"

"N-no I'm not" she said while facing the other side.

"Just calm down. Forget about the thing that bothers you" I smiled to her.

She sighed and nodded.

We started to walk. When we're already outside, I put my arms on the railings and looked at the moon.

"(Y/n)"I called her.

"W-what?" She questioned while looking at the other side.

"You did a good job beating Qouisa" I said.

I looked at her and smiled.

'Why is she so beautiful? Why did my heart chose you (y/n). If it's simple to say what I really felt, can I really get you and be mine?'

I sighed and closed my eyes.

What am I thinking?

"(Y/n), what if I tell you that I like you" I said to her.

Her face became flush red and I can feel an awkward atmosphere coming from her.

"Just forget what I said" and I fake a laugh.

Silence, there's no one talking.

"Uhmm..."

"Gray" I looked at her.

I can see a sad expression on her face.

She leaned forward and kissed me.
I did not expect that she will kiss me.

My body became stiff. I don't know how to react because this is unexpected.

When our lips parted away, she was crying.

"H-hey" when I'm going to reach my hand, she backed off.

"I'm sorry" and she ran away.

I was confused but I did not hesitate to follow her.

I can't keep up running and in the end I did not catch up.

I was breathing heavily when I came back to where we live temporarily.

"Did you saw (y/n)?"

"What do you mean?" Natsu questioned.

I went to her room. When I opened the door, I did not see a trace of her.

Because of exhaustion, I went to my room and I slept easily.

As I woke up, I searched for (y/n) but no signs of her.

I've got a new idea and started to search for Persian but no signs of him too.

When the Fairy Tail guild are ready to leave, we walked at the street and saw an unexpected scene.

(Y/n) is with the other the guild and the worst is she's with the Moon Knight.

"(Y/n)!" I called her.

She faced me but there is no trace of emotion in her eyes.

Seeing her like that tells me that she is not the (y/n) that I knew.
