London Hospital, April 21st, 1964, 10:24 a.m.

The nurse walked into room 303 to do some check ups on the girl, waking her in the proses.

"Good morning, and how are you today?" The nurse asked the young girl.

"........Tired........" The girl replied as she rubbed her eyes and yawned.

"And may I ask what your name is?" The nurse asked with a smile.

"Melody, and I'm six!" She exclaimed in a childish manner as she held up seven fingers, then pulling one down.

"I see, well, Melody, I'll inform Dr. Hanes that you're up and he'll be here shortly." Melody seemed disappointed at first, she didn't like doctors. Then she smiled. "Alright, but first; who are they?" She pointed to the four sleeping Beatles. The nurse laughed.

"They are 'The Beatles', don't you remember them?" The nurse asked in a concerned voice. Melody stared at her momentarily.

"I don't know them......" She replied completely ignoring the nurse's question, the nurse just smiled and left the room. Melody watched her until she was out of sight, then turned her attention to the four slumbering Beatles, she grabbed her pillow from behind her on the bed, ad trough it directly at John. As the pillow hit him square in the face, he sprung awake yelling something about Paul hitting him, which in turn, woke the rest of them.

"Paul you annoying nit, don't hit!" John yelled at an unnecessary volume. Paul payed him little to no attention and let the subject fall.

"Aye, lads, the bird's awake." George pointed out. The four men crowded around her bed, she just stared at them with moderate amusement.

"'Ello, luv, I'm Paul McCartney." Paul introduced himself with a smile as Melody shook his out stretched hand with a giggle.

"And I'm George Harrison." George added with a polite bow. Melody smiled more at this simple movement.

"Ringo Starr's the name, pleased to meat you!" Ringo chimed in with a kind smile. Melody grinned along with him. As it came time for John to introduce himself he stood there a minute to add dramatic effect, the continued the introductions.

"And last, but totally not least, yours truly, John Lennon!" He said in a failed valley girl accent, then added a slightly psychotic laugh. They all stared at him a moment before breaking into a small fit of uncontrollable laughter, in which John joined. Once they calmed themselves, it was Melody's tern to introduce herself.

"And I'm Melody..... although I don't remember my last name....." She said with an embarrassed smile.

"That's alright, luv, you can borrow the last name 'McCartney' while you're staying with me." Paul said. Melody smiled and thanked him.

Dr. Hanes came back after the nurse had informed him the occupants of room 303 where awake.

"Good morning," He said to no one inpreticular. They all nodded their response. He did a few extra health checks, and wrote down the results on a clipboard.

"Well, she seems stable enough to go home today, I'm going to need her name first." Dr. Hanes said turning to Paul.

"Her name is Melody McCartney, and we'll be sure to call if anything happens." Paul stated confidently. Dr. Hanes wrote her name on his clipboard, and left the room, as a nurse came in with a pile of clothes under her arm, which she handed to Melody, who took them with a confused smile.

"Now, you change, while I talk to the boys upfront, I'll be back in about ten minutes to take you back to these four." The nurse said pointing to the four Beatles. She then took the four band members to the front desk to sign papers and pay for the expenses, leaving Melody alone to change out of that dreadfull hospital gown.

About ten minutes later the nurse took Melody from room 303, to the waiting area where Paul was sitting while the others sat in the car and waited with Neil Aspinall, their road manager. Paul had led her out of the hospital and into the car where she was introduced to Neil. On the ride back to the McCartney estate, Melody was seated in between Paul and George, just as she was the night before.
