My eyes wouldn't open. Hadn't opened in hours, they must have swollen shut.

I knew I looked like shit, but who wouldn't really? And besides, it's not as though anyone would see me here. Wherever here was.

I escaped, of course. Ronnie, it would seem, couldn't bring herself to watch me as I bled and bruised and blistered. And so she assigned someone else to do so for her.

Nice fellow really, he shook the whole way through. Almost as though he didn't want to do it, and certainly like he had never tortured before. It really was quite a shame to have to kill him, but, well he chose the wrong side. And now I'll have to make sure Ronnie knows she did the same.

I'm not really sure that I like it at the moment but maybe I'll change my mind.

I do wish that everyone would stop staring, so I'm a little bloody. At least this time the blood is mine, that's got to count for something doesn't it?

"Hello there Nik, you're looking......well." I could practically hear the sarcasm dripping from every word.

"I always am Anthony." I smirked. "I need your help with something."

He sighed and gave me a pointed look, "You know there are thousands of men and woman out there who would love to help you. I don't personally swing that way, but I'll gladly find you someone who does."

"I need you to help me raze a city."

"Uh wow, okay then, that's decidedly not what I thought you meant. What ah, what happened exactly?"

I shrugged, "Someone made me angry, is that not reason enough?"

"For a crazy person maybe!" He looked far too alarmed right now.

"Exactly." I smiled, but for some reason he just looked more alarmed.

Note to self, don't smile while covered in blood. Or when talking about killing a cities worth of people.
