Tears began to flow down your cheeks and on to Toby's jacket, but it was hard to tell due to the rain. After the long hug was over, he led you inside so that you two could get dry. "Y-you can go first (Y/n), " he said cracking his neck.  You put on a fake smile and thanked him, going up the stairs. You went into his room and as soon as the door was shut, you broke down. You sat on his bed and sobbed for a few minutes before changing into your pajamas. You knew that if you took too long Toby may worry, so you washed your face and went back downstairs.
He smiled at you brightly as you walked down the stairs, he looked at you the way every girl wants to be looked at. He got up and kissed your cheek before running upstairs. As soon as the coast was clear, you grabbed a pen and a piece of paper off of the counter. You began scribbling down every thought that you had about having to leave, not being sure if any of it was making sense. As soon as you heard his bedroom door shut, you folded the note up and put it in your pocket.
"W-well since everyone is still out and it's getting late, I-I thought maybe I could make you d-dinner and then we could go up and h-hang out in my room," Toby said when he finally reached the bottom of the stairs. "That sounds perfect," you replied trying to sound chipper. He looked at you a little strangely, like he could sense something was off, but soon enough he was just smiling again and went into the kitchen to cook. You sat on top of the counter watching him turn the stove on. It was funny to you that you'd made macaroni and cheese about one hundred times before, but you loved watching Toby do it. The meal was done soon enough and you both were done fairly quickly, putting your dishes in the sink.
He led you upstairs and into his room, smiling the entire time. Toby put another one of your favorite movies on his television to watch. You both climbed into Toby's bed and assumed the usual cuddle position. It was only 8 o'clock but he was already exhausted. About an hour later he was already asleep, which meant it was time for you to make your escape.
You gently moved Toby's arm from around you and placed it back down once you had moved towards the edge of the bed. When you got up from the bed he made a little noise but luckily didn't wake up. You grabbed your bag that had all of your stuff in it and tiptoed over to Toby's side of the bed. You took the slightly crumpled note out of your pocket and smoothed it out, leaving it on his nightstand. You gave him a kiss on the forehead before tiptoeing out of his bedroom door.
As soon as you got out of the mansion and into the forest, you started to run in the direction that you knew would spit you out near your home.
