leave me

leave me.

i do not need you.

it is a beautiful world,

full of people who travel miles to see giant redwood trees

and great big waves that cast shadows over the sand.

so leave me.

i refuse to limit you from a limitless world

please leave me.

if i do not fulfill your needs

then you do not need me.

i beg you to leave me.

just cut the rope and let me go,

and perhaps we will meet again when i drive far

to view the forests where life blossoms far up in the air,

or the beaches where water rises.

but i hope we do not.

because if you leave me,

then you should stay gone.
