i loved you more than honey on my cereal,
and more than all the cartoons i'll hopelessly obsess over instead of skyping you.
though some days that's alright,
because you're out doing you things,
like putting on your makeup only to wipe it all off once you're done,
or attempting to twerk on your wall.
perhaps this isn't as romantic as intended,
because i'm currently failing to compare your eyes to the moon.
however i've never been much good at being romantic,
so this is my way of telling you that i love all the little things about you.
i love how much you love ginger,
and i love how you're left handed because if we ever had to write on the same paper,
it would be easier.
i love how you like to dress up even when you aren't going anywhere due to your love of fashion,
and i really love how much you like indie stuff even though i'll endlessly mock you for it.
i love that you want to learn how to draw in realistic styles,
and how willing you are to do so.
i love that me reading to you makes you fall asleep,
and i also love your tired voice.
what i'm trying to say, in general,
is that i love you a lot.
maybe this can be considered as a belated christmas present,
or just a casual gift from me to you,
because i just want you to know that i love you and everything about you
as if that wasn't clear from me saying it constantly and randomly every day.
so thanks for the two (soon to be three) years that we've spent together,
platonic and not,
because i really appreciate what we have
and i don't want it to ever end.
