"(Y/n)!" I heard someone yell my name and I slowly opened my eyes. I sat up from my bed, aka my jacket was made into a makeshift pillow. I blinked a couple of times when I saw Jessie standing in front of my cage

"Jessie? What're you doing here kid?" I stood up and placed my hands on the glass in front of me.

"I can't believe he locked you up!" She exclaimed

"Jessie you can't be here." I shook my head. "You're father. He isn't a fan of me right now and let me tell he'll probably try to kill me if he finds you here."

"He's dictating my life and now he's ruining his." Jessie sighed

"How do you not hate me?" I asked

"What do you mean?" She asked stepping back from the glass.

"I told him where you were." I sighed "I'm so sorry Jessie I thought he would let me out and then I'd try to beat him to you to give you a warning but he just left me in here." I spoke quickly

"He told me. It's okay." She shook her head. "I understand why you did it." She assured me. "He also told me that you know about where we're from." She said slowly

"I know about the breaches." I nodded. "He told you my secret I'm guessing?" I asked

"No I did not. I thought you would want to tell her." I glanced behind Jessie and saw Harry walking into the pipeline hallway. He walked over to the panel and opened the glass door.

"What's your secret?" Jessie looked at me.

"I'm a uh.. I'm a metahuman." I bit my lip. Jessies hand quickly flew over her heart

"Thank god I totally thought you were going to say you were pregnant." She chuckled "Not that'd be bad or anything, it's just you dated my dad, it'd be a big surprise if I learned that I was going to be a big sister."

"I don't think you'll have to worry about that." I smiled sadly as I quickly knelt down and grabbed my jacket.

"So what's your power?" Jessie asked excitedly as I walked out of the cell and closer to her

"I uh. I can read minds. I have telepathy." I told her with a slight shrug.

"No way. That is so cool!" She gushed "Are you reading my mind right now? What am I thinking?" She asked looking like a kid in a candy shop.

"I learned how to control this power so I don't just read minds all the time." I stated and she pouted. I rolled my eyes playfully "You're thinking about how cool it would be to read the Kardashians minds." I made a confused face

"I was!" She exclaimed amazed. "Now read my dads!" She smiled quickly before she realized what she just said. "I uh. Never mind." She shook her head.

"She doesn't need to read my mind to know what I'm thinking." Harry said as he walked closer to Jessie and I.

"He's disappointed in me." I stated and he began to shake his head.

"Not exactly what I'm thinking." He chuckled

"Then what're you thinking?" I asked
"I'm thinking that I should beg for forgiveness." He chuckled sadly.

"She's going to need more than you begging. I'm thinking an engagement ring or a bouquet." Jessie stated and I looked over at her "Or y'know, could just ignore me." She shrugged

"How about dinner, then we can talk about that engagement ring?" He offered with a smile.
