Happy Part Four (GrantxReader)

"Grant." I knocked softly on his trailer door. I heard muffled voices before the door was pushed open.

"You." (R/g/n) seethed as she pointed her finger at me.

"Me." I sighed regretfully before she reached down and grabbed my shoulder and pulled me up the stairs and into the trailer. When I was inside the trailer she reached out and pulled the trailer door shut.

"You are going to mess everything up!" (R/g/n) hissed

"Just leave her out of the (R/g/n). She doesn't know anything about this." Grant sighed from the couch. He sat there with his head in his hands.

"What's going on?" I asked confused.

"You're fucking with our relationship." (R/g/n) stated

"It's not like I'm doing it on purpose, I'm friends with Grant!" I urged.

"(Y/n), take a seat." Grant stood up from his couch and motioned for me to sit down. I looked at him concerned but slowly sat down. "Let me explain what's going on." He said slowly and (R/g/n) glared at me. "Okay so as you might know, (R/g/n) and I met last year at the kids choice awards, we hit it off, we kept in touch over twitter supporting each other every now and then." Grant started

"I don't think I need to hear the story of how you two fell in love." I rolled my eyes and leaned back onto the couch cushion behind me. (R/g/n) chuckled and Grant shook his head while looking over at her irritated

"We never fell in love." He stated. "That's what I'm trying to tell you." He rubbed his temples

"Listen here. This is fake, it's a publicity stunt set up by our agents." (R/g/n) stated

"Her agent." Grant glared at her

"Yours agreed to this too babe, so it is is both of our agents ideas." She crossed her arms over her chest. "I'm in a new movie, it's being released in a couple of weeks, we have to stay together until after the movie is released." She explained

"We're supposed to break up after I find her flirting with her costar at the premiere for the movie." Grant said

"They want to bring you into this though." (R/g/n) rolled her eyes in irritation.

"What do you mean?" I asked

"They want to change the plan. They want us to break up but keep it on the downlow then have me to take you as my date to the movie premiere, then have (r/g/n) and I argue at the premiere about you." Grant sighed

"So does that make me the bad guy or you?" I look up at him

"The story will be that he cheated on me with you."(R/g/n) stated. I shook my head.

"No. I am not helping if it's going to harm Grant and his image." I stood up from the couch.

"My agent said it would be a good idea. They said I'd be pegged as the bad boy." He sighed

"I know you Grant and I know for a fact that you know you won't be pegged as a bad boy, you'll be pegged as the douchebag." I stated "You guys want to hype the movie? Have a nasty break up, before the premiere. Then Grant, you show up at the premiere, alone. Act supportive and not like you want to strangle each other, then after the premiere tweet about how proud you are of (R/g/n). Good publicity for both of you. Win-win situation." I explained. The two of them shared a look and then (R/g/n) shrugged. "You both are obviously hating everything about this. Just end it. Make it as messy as you can. Scream, yell, throw his shit out onto the yard or vice versa. Make people want to know what happened, but keep them guessing. After the break up, (R/g/n) delete every picture you have of him off of your social media, Grant, you delete them days after she deletes hers. She will be seen as the strong independant woman, you will be seen as the sad ex for a while, but once the premiere comes and goes, you both will be seen as mature adults. Not arguing children who want to watch the world burn." I started walking towards the door.

"What if it doesn't work?" (R/g/n) asked

"Well then, that means you stared in a shit movie that no one actually ones to see." I shrugged and heard Grant try to stifle a laugh. "See you tomorrow Grant." I looked back and gave a small wave before I pushed open the trailer door and walked out.
