I woke up to screaming and jumped out of bed and ran downstairs to find my mother arm in arm with Frank. That was normal for them.What I did not expect was the sight of my living room and the rant from my old ma;
The couch was halfway through the large window allowing an extreme amount of sun inside along with some birds. Normally, there was a beautiful glass table, but instead it lay in shards shining due to the sun. Red cups and beer bottles lay around the floor. The room smelled of vomit. Unable to take it, I ran to the bathroom toilet emptying the contents of my stomach. There I discovered every soap in my bathroom poured out; be it on the floor, sink, mirror, or flung upon the walls.
Unbelieving my eyes, I marched through more debris into the worst place: the kitchen.
The wooden table was covered in drawings of inappropriate images and words from a convenient Sharpie marker. Drapes that once hung over the window above the sing were now on the ceiling fan dripping with an unknown liquid. Once orange walls now sported strange spots.
My stomach growled as I walked to the refrigerator seeking waffles, because if I'm going to get punished, I might as well do it on a full stomach. When it's door was halfway open, it fell of the hinges crashing to the ground.
"Dammit Kate!" My mother screamed! "First you throw a party and now you break my fridge! What the hell is wrong with you!" She thwacked me upside the head.
"This isn't even my fault! It's Christina's!" I explained hoping for once she would actually believe me.
Yeah, right Kate! Just keep waiting for that dream to come true!
"Now don't blame Chris! You and I both know she isn't capable of that!" This time it was Frank who screamed. I just wanted to crawl into a corner and drop dead. But no, I wasn't that lucky. At that moment, Christina walked down the stairs tugging some soccer player down the stairs behind her. A smile grew on my lips as her shrunk when she saw her father. Maybe my fate was about to change.
I think when I was born the universe just picked me out of a crowd and said "You are the one and only person we will bitch slap for the rest of her natural born life." Now I guess the universe was quite contempt with itself as it threw a punch and hit directly on target.
Quickly, Chris dropped the boy's hand and walked up to her father. "Daddy! I found this boy in my bathroom and he said Kate asked him to spend the night after the party she threw! It was ridiculous! There were people everywhere drinking and fighting!" Immediately Frank's face softened as he reached out to hold his now crying daughter. My own mother stared at them lovingly!
"I want this shit cleaned up now Kate! You will pay for the damages and you are grounded forever! GO!" There was no room to argue with her commands. So, I walked back upstairs to the broom closet.
Damn that girl was a good actress!

I collapsed on my bed exhausted from the day. After sweeping the floors, scrubbing the table, trying to fix the refrigerator door, and getting yelled at for 'having a boy in my room' it was my job to make dinner for Frank, Mom, Chris, and our guest, the soccer player, resting his hands all over Princess Chris.
I closed my eyes willing myself to disappear when my phone went off.
Just when I got a break! I groaned as lifted my eyes to see a text from my boyfriend Jack.
I guess one good thing about that party was that it gave Jack the opportunity to ask me out. Yes, I was furious and upset that he was kissing another girl, but when he looked at me with those ocean eyes, I melted too easily like butter in a pan. Jack simply smiled, kissed my forehead, and tucked me into bed afterwards saying he would text me tomorrow. Tomorrow has come I thought smiling to myself.
Delivered From Jack: Did you die!?!?
To Jack: Obviously, I'm texting you from the grave.
Delivered From Jack: I've been calling you all day! What's wrong?
To Jack: Oh, nothing, I was stuck cleaning up the house after the party last night. Christina played the princess card and I got blamed for it. Same old story.
Delivered From Jack: That sucks! If I known I would have helped you clean.
To Jack: It's the thought that counts. Besides, would you have liked to scrub my kitchen ceiling splattered with suspicious liquids?
Delivered From Jack: Yeah, about that, I'm sorry. It was pineapple juice.
To Jack: Well I guess it could have been worse. :p
Delivered From Jack: Anyway I wanted to know when you were available for our first date.
To Jack: That might be awhile. I am basically grounded for life.
Delivered From Jack: Good thing I have patience to wait. ;)
To Jack: That's cute. I have to go make dinner. I'll text you tomorrow. Goodnight Jack.
Delivered From Jack: Goodnight my beautiful girl.

(A/N): Woah that was incredibly long compared to the other chapters! Now I feel quite accomplished even if it was just a boring filler - I'm sorry nothing really happened
