Lillys POV
On the way to the pack house we stopped at a cafe so I could let the Alpha know we were minutes away from entering his territoty but of course Nathan was being himself. I went outside to make my call and he followed me while everyone else stayed inside. Daniel stood guard close by yet he didn't take his eyes off Ashley who seemed sullen for some unknown reason. I dialed the Alphas number and prayed to the anscestors that I caught him awake because come on who ever heard of someone enjoying being waken up.
"Hello?" He asked me yawning. Dam, I woke him up. "Hello, Alpha Maddox, Its Lilly Riverdale. Do you remember me?" I asked him. My voice as soft and gentle as possible without sounding weak or low. I heard a small gasp then silence, "Alpha?" I asked him trying to get his attention. "Yes, I remember you. How are you? I was just about to tell everyone that you're back." He answers me as I take a sip from my bananna nut capuccino. Apperantly Nathan thought this was a perfect opportunity to jab at my ribs trying to tickle me but I only ended up coughing my lungs out.
"Dam it Nate! Stop it!" I yell mid-laugh as he continues trying to tickle me. He sticks his tongue out at me and I turn away giggling. "Sorry Alpha but my mate he's playfull. Don't tell anyone I'm back. I want it to be a surprise...for everyone including my parents. I would appreciate your discretion on the subject since I've decided to keep my identity a secret for now anyways. I would appreciate it if you just tell your people not to attack us excluding my name." I tell him as I reach towards Nathan and smack him laughing as he pulls away in mock hurt. My capuccino sits precariously on a rail forgotten.
"I do have a small child with me and if we feel threatened we will attack. I hope you understand." I add seriously because even if Marcus wasn't my own child I would protect him. I had promised Jay that much and I stood by my word no matter the consequence. I didn't stand by my word then what kind of person, what kind of leader would I be. "That's no problem. I will let them know we have visiters so they won't attack you. Do you have a place to stay? If not you're more than welcome to stay with me." He tells me as I keep swatting trying to hit Nathan as he teases me by making faces.
"No, thank you Alpha. I ... we really appreciate it but we already have a place and when we arrive I will welcome you into our home. We are at the cafe bordering Midvalley land so we shouldn't take long to arrive. You should expect a truck, a car and two motorcycles just so that you know that its us. We're traveling together so we shouldn't be hard to spot." I tell him and wait for his answer. "Ok, I will keep an eye out. Let me know when you're here." He tells me. "Will do Alpha. Thank you." And with that I hang up to attend matters at hand.
I smack Nathan on the head and catch my capuccino just as its about to fall. I finish it before throwing it away and getting everyone else ready to go. We drive behind Brad who is the only one that actually knows where we will be staying. It doesn't take long to get there partially cuz were speeding and partially cuz well it wasn't that far off to begin with. Nobody stopped us as we entered the territory but that didn't stop the stares and murmurings.
"No way." I murmur to myself as we get closer and I realize that the house he had made was smack dab next to the Alpha's. Not to mention the fact that it looked huge. At least from a distance it did so I couldn't imagine what it looked like from up close. We drove into the garage the doors were already opened I'm assuming by Brad who went in first. We all fit in nicely into the three seperate yet joined garages everyone was parked individually except for the motorcycles since we didn't need a whole room for just two bikes.
I heard all the doord opening as everyone got out to admire the house. We stepped inside and Marcus went crazy, "This is huge!" He yelled zipping from room to room Jay in tow. "Slow down, you could hurt yourself." I hear Jay tell him but Marcus doesn't listen and I laugh. "The whole third floor is yours." I hear someone whisper in my ear and turn around to see Brad standing behind me. I swat him and he pulls away in mock hurt, "My you've gotten violent." He says laughing.
