Brian's POV
I watched Nicole get herself ready for work. I was worried about her though. She's been acting a little different. Nicole thinks I don't hear her get sick, but I do.
I looked towards her as she walked out from the bathroom. "Alright, I will see you after work." Nicole smiled.
"Ok baby, have a good day." I kissed her softly and smiled.
"I will try my best." Nicole hugged me. She walked out of the room and down the stairs. I followed her and stood in the doorway.
After she left I got myself dressed and then left the house. I got on my bike and went over to Matt's house. "Yo Matt?" I said as I walked in.
"He went to see his dad quick." Genie peaked her head from the kitchen.
I walked in the kitchen. "In all honesty, I need to talk to you not Matt."
Genie looked up at me with a raised eyebrow. "O-Oh."
"Nicole has been acting different." I said as I sighed.
"How do you mean?" Genie shifted her weight as she placed a hand on her hip.
"We went to the botanical garden the other day and she got sick. We went to eat and she ate as if she didn't eat for two days... I've asked what's wrong and she tells me she's fine, but she's been sick every morning since..." I shook my head.
