Chapter Ten

We were about 1 inch apart! One inch to make the fire works go out. THAT DAMN BELL! I don't what to do next. Should we go to class? Should we stay here? Does she want to go? Is she weirded out? I just look at her. She smiles at me, like knowing what is going through my mind.

"You're special to me, you know?" She said in a cute little way.

"Am I?" I say while playing with her hair.

"Yeah;but, we should head to class."

"Yeah. Lets go."

I help her get up and head out. I wanted to hold her hand, but would that be weird? Are we something now? Should I ask her if she REALLY likes me the way I do? I am probably most dull guy ever.

"Well, I guess I'll see you later."

"See you later!" I said while waving bye.

~ALEX'S P.O.V~

Third block just ended. I had class with Berenice during second block, but I didn't get myself to talk to her. I still don't understand why Berenice would be mad? I mean it's Nat. I headed towards fourth block. That class is my least favorite up to now. That torture goes by so slow and finally ends. I run down the stairs and start looking for Berenice in the cafeteria. I remember what she was wearing, so it should be easy to find her. After a minute or two I see her walking in alone. I build up the courage to talk to her.

"Hey" I said a bit shy.

"Oh, hi" She said rather happy.

"Do you have a sec?"

"Yeah, sure"

I take her to one of the tables and sit down. On my way I think of what I should say. Something that won't mess up stuff.

"Look have to talk to you about what happened in the morning" I said in a serious tone.

"Oh. that" She said in a irritated way.

"I just want to know why you girls got mad. specially you. I care for you, you know?"

"Yes, I'm aware. Well you know that Diana has had a major crush on Nat; and, it just wasn't a idol love! It was something real. Any of the songs that he sang, she would feel the emotions behind it. The music that you guys make is truly inspiring to us. You guys are the most amazing people ever. I was just worried for my sister. Worried that all her dreams would get destroyed."

I hold out to her hands. They so soft! I can just be here all day.

"I understand, and I have to say that you two girls are the most outstanding girls that we have ever met. I know that Nat cares deeply about your sister, and I am trusting you that secret until he tells Diana."

"I will, and thanks for coming out to me to talk about this. You are a very special boy Alex." She said with a big smile.

I have a warming feeling inside of me. This is a sensation that I want to have forever. I invited her to lunch and just talked about random stuff. I feel like I got to know her more. To be honest, I have wanted to ask her if she wanted to go out with me. I really do. After a few minutes the bells ring and we start to pack up to go to fifth block (Which we have the same class as well) I want to tell her so bad! I better wait for after school, when we have more time. I KNOW! I will take her to that garden that Nat told me about. YES! I feel like I have a new goal now
