Chapter Twenty-Four

*I am going to give Samantha a part in this because it fits the timing. Then we'll go back to the normal course*

~SAMANTHA'S P.O.V~

Everything fit like a glove. Nat totally fell for what I told him, Diana is crying like a baby. Ha. This day couldn't get better;but, perhaps I can make it a lot better.

That little brat went running down, probably to the bathroom. I think it would be nice for me to pay her a visit. As I walk my way there, many guys start talking to me. I mean, I am beautiful, I need all the attention I need.

I get to the bathroom and I see a little weak girl.

"Hey bit-" I said before she cut me.

"What do you want? Did you just come here to make me feel bad?" Diana said looking at me.

"Haha. That's just a hobby my dear, but then again I would do it for living."

"How did Nat ever agree to go out with you?"

"I have my perks, and besides, he thinks that you're a lie."

"What? Where did he get that idea. I loved him more than anything."

"Yours truly! Get a grip go after someone your own class."

"You just want him for the fame and money. You don't love him."

"Haha, that is what he thinks of you. You can thank me later. Now go find yourself a peasant like yourself."

"For your information I already have a really nice guy after me."

"Whatever, bye!"

Now that she is out of my case I can suck all the money and fame out of Nat. Life is so much easier when you're pretty.

~ALEX'S P.O.V~

School ended and it was so hard to sit next to Berenice without talking to her. After what Nat told me that Diana and Berenice only want the fame, I can't think of her the same way. I thought she was different, I thought she was special; but she turned out to be the same as the others.

After school I wanted to go to the little garden. I like to go there and just sit and relax. I got there and someone was already there. I just stood in the entrance until she came towards me. It was Berenice. I knew I would have to face her sooner or later. I didn't know how to react. All my love for her was ruined by her lies. She wants me for not who I am, but what I have.

"Alex we need to talk." She said with a serious voice.

"I know."

"Good. I just want to make it quick and simple... We are over."

"Yeah, after you lied to me I think we are." I said as I turned around.

"What? Lie?"

"Don't try to be innocent. You and Diana just want us for the fame."

"Are you kidding me? We have been following you guys for basically our entire life. We have never pretended to be something we are not; and I thought you would know that."

"I don't think so. Nat told me that and I believe him."

"And where did Nat get that idea?"

"Our true friend, and his new girlfriend, Samantha."

"Go gotta be kidding with me, but it's sad that you believe her after all that she has done to us. I don't care. Do whatever you want." Berenice said and she walked pass me and left.

I felt that something inside me was gone. This time only anger and confusion filled my heart. So it was over. We finished it in the worst way possible. Now it's just time for me to move on, without her.

I got home and simply landed on my bed. My mind was blank. I didn't want to do homework or work on music. I just wanted to lay there and let the world eat me full. I don't know what I will do for this time. I have so much stuff and then again I have nothing.
