Greatest Lullaby (Nat & Alex Wolff Fan Fiction)

Chapter Fourteen

~BERENICE'S P.O.V~

I couldn't be more happy! The love of my entire life went to my house in the middle of the night just to sing me a song. It is highly rare for me to get up and immediately start the day, but I did. I wore my uniform (it was mandatory)for the first day. I decided to put on a gray skirt with a white polo, a pair of black high top Converse. I fixed up my hair in my usual scene way and put a little purple bow. I cleaned up my glasses and headed to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I don't put makeup, just lip gloss, so I did that. I skipped to the kitchen. Mom and Diana were already there. Mom wasn't so sure about what happened, since she was still sleepy, but Diana; oh Diana, she was grinning the entire time. I couldn't help blushing!

We had breakfast and mom said the magic words... "Hop on to the car". I was so hyped that I could run a marathon. For the first time in a long time I beat Diana to shot gun. Mom started the car and we eventually got to school were we kissed her cheek and walked inside. Usually the boys are outside, but we didn't see them, so we thought they would in the cafeteria, and they were. Alex was the first one to see us; never less, he blushed and tapped Nat's shoulder, telling him to look up. He jumped out of the table and ran to Diana giving her a kiss on the cheek and patting me on the head. I usually didn't like it; but hey, it's Nat. Alex made his way and planted a sweet kiss on my cheek. I blushed and so did he. We waiting a bit until the bell rang and headed to our classes. The day went my and the four of us walked to the house. Before we made it Nat mentioned that he had to go to his house to leave something, so Diana went with him.

I was left alone with Alex. I didn't feel weird. Like there was no wall between us, the way I liked it. To be honest, Alex is probably one of the easiest persons that I have ever met. I could talk to him about anything and he would always know what to say. We got to my house and before I opened the door my mom sent me a text.

"Hey sweetie, I went to this yoga class and I will be there for 2 hours and afterwards I will go grocery shopping, so I will be home in like 3 hours. Ok love you!"

"Ok mom. Hey is it alright if Nat & Alex come over for a bit, we have some homework to work on." I had to ask her, I just couldn't just walk in with to guys without telling her.

"Ok. Just no funny business, ok?"

"Pinky promise mommy! Love you :)"

"Love you too baby!"

I opened the door and we walked inside. Almost all the furniture was placed, we only had to work on some details in the rooms the. We were done.

"You can put your stuff in the corner over there." I told Alex

"Yeah, thanks. All of you girls looked like you put a lot of work into this place. It looks really nice." He complimented.

"Really? Thanks!" I replied with a smile. "So are you hungry? Want me to make you something?"

"No! I'm just tired." He said while yawning.

"Then feel free to take a nap on the couch, last night you slept on the floor, and I bet that wasn't so comfortable."

"Ok, but sing me a lullaby" he said in a baby voice.

I walked up to him and sat down. He immediately sat on my lap and curled up, putting his head on my neck. I sang him a lullaby, one that my mom would sing to my sister and I. Slowly we both fell asleep together. I wasn't cold. My baby was there with me, hugging me tight. We woke up and Diana and Nat were watching Netflix on the iPad. Alex was still asleep. He looked so cute; like a little puppy. I played with his curly hair, my favorite physical feature about him. It was so soft like cotton candy. He eventually woke up and rubbed his eyes. I gently passed my hand on his forehead and gave him a little kiss on the head. He groaned, wanting to go back to sleep.

"Come on sleepy head, time for you guys to go back home."

"Yeah you're right, your mom will be here any minute."

"Yeah, so come on."

Nat & Alex went out the door. He didn't ask me anything today; but just the fact that he was with me today, can make my day. Tomorrow is a mystery, and something better can happen. I just need to keep my hopes high.
