Greatest Lullaby (Nat & Alex Wolff Fan Fiction)

Chapter Seventeen

~DIANA'S P.O.V~

The day of Christmas has finally come! This is the time to be jolly fa la la la la! I have my entire outfit picked out! We are going to the Wolff's house to have dinner with them and then the four of us are going ice skating! I'm in my room jamming to Black Sheep as always and putting on a little bit of makeup. Time passes super fast and I finally have to get changed. I put on a red with white dress, with black pumps and black gloves. I love dressing up, I love to experiment makeup and outfits and stuff. When I am gone I head to Berenice's room. She opens up and I see how awful she is dressed. She has her hair all puffed up like always, she is wearing some Christmas themed band merchandise and red skinny jeans; and, to top it off those old converse high tops.

"Oh no sweetie! This is CHRISTMAS. You are not going to wear that today." I said storming into her room.

"What? I feel fine wearing this. I think I look good."

"Oh that's what you say, but just take advice from me this once and you will see the difference." I said with an evil grin on my face.

"What are you going to do to me Diana?" Berenice said quite scared.

"Relax! If you want to can keep your hair like that, but I will have to change your outfit, make it more seasonal."

"Fine, but don't mess up. I really want to look good this year" She said with an innocent face.

"Got it!" I said.

I worked in her for about an hour and I was finally finished with my master piece. I put on a light smoky eye and a cute black dress with a red ribbon across her waist. She had some little heels in the depths of her closet so I told her to put on those. Never in my life have I seen her with a dress. She did taekwondo, so she had strong legs, and to be honest, they looked nice. I really had high hopes for her this year. She is always alone and mom and I are all she has, I want this year to be different.

Times passes by and we are all ready. Mom looks beautiful as always and I look like a princess! Then there is Berenice that looks way better, thanks to me! Anyway, we head to the Wolff's. Nat opened the door, gave me a kiss on the cheek and greeted my mom and sister. His parents were in the living room turning the fire place on. They immediately turned around and smiled. They headed towards us all gave us a huge hug. They are so sweet but where is Alex?

We sit down and start talking and stuff. After a while Alex finally shows up. He has something in his hands but he rushes up stairs.

"Do you mind checking up on him?" Asks Nat to Berenice.

"What? Are you sure?" She says in reply, a bit shy.

"Don't worry dear he won't bite. Maybe he needs help to get that stuff out." Their parents say. I can not believe that they are actually motivating her.

"Just go sweetie, then come back." My mom says. This is getting awkward, I think they have something planned that I am not aware of.

She stands up, while everybody is winking and smiling at her, she makes her way up stairs and Nat just sits by me and gives me a kiss on forehead, knowing what would happen.

~BERENICE'S P.O.V~

This is so weird. It looks like everybody knows what is going to happen. I guess it's ok, I haven't seen Alex all day, he hasn't called or texted, but I will be alone with him for a while. I make my way up the staircase into a hall. I pass through all the door until I bump into one that says Alex. I softly knock and few seconds later a cute little Alex opened the door.

"Hey sir, Merry Christmas." I say with a smile.

"Hey ma'am." He says back.

"Do you mind if I come in?"

"No, please" He says while opening wider the door.

I make my way in I see his room filled with cool band posters. This is not what I expected, but then again, I never imagined that in a thousands years I would be in Alex Wolff's bedroom. It looks like those bedrooms on Tumblr, so cozy and indie. I sit on his comfy bed while he closes the door behind him.

"Sorry if the room is a mess." He says a bit shy.

"Don't worry, it's cool. I love all your posters." I say just admiring his walls filled with pictures of the Beatles, Bon Jovi, Guns N' Roses, Queen, and stuff. " So, where were you all this time?"

"I was getting a few things for-" He said before staying silent.

"What? For who?" I said, sting to know.

"Sorry I can't say, it's for Christmas.

"Oh well."

He got dressed into this hot suit. OMFG! I am seeing Alex Wolff getting into a fricking suit, he looks classy, but at the same time he look hot as frick! I see he has a hard time tying his tie. So I walk up to him to help him out. I have to say, my sis did a good job to make me look really nice, I actually look like girl that would be able to have a boyfriend (Alex Wolff). As I help him out we talk about stupid stuff. Once I am done I fix his hair a bit and I end up looking into his eyes. He looks back and forwards from my eyes and to lips (which by the way are red). He slowly leans towards my face, but I don't back up, or forwards, I just stand still. I feel his lips on mine. They are so soft, and plum. He wraps his arms around my waist and my arms slowly around his neck. I don't feel like a fan girl, I have made it to the next level of loyalty. Time just stops. I lean back and look into his eyes again. I smile and he does too. I give him a big warm hug while he whispers to me ear.

"This Christmas, I want you to be my present. Will you be my girlfriend?" OMG signal the sirens!

I just stand there, smiling like and idiot, I don't even mind that my lipstick is messed up. "Don't mess with me Alex."

"I would never, you are the most important thing ever this year." He said. I could see the honesty in his eyes. "So what do you say?"

"You know what? You just kissed your new girlfriend." I said.

"Ok. I think I will do it again now." I kisses me one more time, but this time a little more harder. I like this. I like this very much.

We make our why down stairs. Holding hands! Thy are all watching us laughing. The rest of the time is great. Their parents are such sweethearts and they cook delicious. After some time, Nat, Diana, Alex and I got to a nearby ice skating ring that is open all night today. We have a great time, now as a couple!

There were so many people there, and between them, one not so great. I swear the Cosmo is out to eat us.
