I slowly pace down the small corridor of the plane until I reached the cabin lined with breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, and dessert tables. My senses were instantly filled with scents of the different cuisines and meals prepared.
On the breakfast table were trays filled with crispy bacon, sweet ham, sunny side up eggs, omelettes, cereal, french toast, sausages, and an assortment of freshly picked fruits and mixed vegetables. On the lunch and dinner tables were chicken nuggets, grilled chicken, baked salmon, fish fillet, pork-chops, steak, barbecue, mashed potatoes, Caesar salad, and steamed vegetables. On the snack table were a few crackers, grilled cheese sandwiches, energy bars, and cheese sticks. On the dessert bar were stacks of cakes, cupcakes, cookies, cheesecakes, croissants, bonbons, chocolate dipped strawberries, and cookie pops.
"Whew..." said Adrien from behind me as he accompanied it with a steady whistle. My hands flail from shock, causing them to hit Adrien in the face. "OW!" he exclaimed, clutching his nose.
"Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry, Kitty," I mutter as I grab his face in my hands to examine his nose. I turn his head slowly from side to side until I'm looking at him straight in the eyes. His eyes shine a brilliant green under the bright lights above. They resemble green orbs and the grassy green hills. His pink lips remind me of the perfect mixture of red and white paint on a canvas. His blond hair reminds me of the sun and stars in the sky. My thoughts wander and whiz around in my head until I'm frozen in place under his stare. None of us dare to break eye contact. I could feel his hot breath as we slowly lean in. I close my eyes as one of his hands start to cup my cheek. The tips of our noses touch.
Closer.
Just a little bit clo- what?
I could feel Adrien's mouth move past my lips, cheek, until they stopped by my ear. The hand that cupped my cheek softly pinched the area near the cheekbone. I felt him move away so I slowly opened my eyes, only to see Adrien holding something between his fingers and a very very wide grin on his face.
"Eyelash," said Adrien as he moved closer, "close your eyes and make a wish, Princess."
I could feel heat rush up my face as I closed my eyes. I thought about what I wanted for a few moments and nodded to signal that I was ready.
"Up or down?" asked Adrien.
" Up," I mutter as I slowly open my eyes.
"Guess what, Princess," said Adrien as he blew away the lash, "that wish of yours might come true." Adrien's mouth opened to say something else, but he immediately closed it once his eyes caught something by to corner of the cabin. I could've sworn his pupils dilated by fifty percent, but I couldn't find out if I was sure or why they dilated until I turned around.
Croissants. I thought to myself.
Silly Kitty.
"You should've just gone to my bakery if all you really wanted were croissants, Croissant Boi," I mused as I approached the dessert table and grabbed a soft-baked cookie.
"Starting again with the nicknames are we, Cookie Girl?" asked Adrien as he ate another croissant.
"Maybe..." I mumbled as my eyes widened at the utter goodness of this cookie. I instantly gobbled down the cookie in my hand and grabbed a few more handfuls. After finishing the bunch in my hands, I got even more cookies. These cookies are just so good! I was about to grab even more cookies but then I heard choking sounds, so I looked up at Adrien who was apparently trying to hold in his laughter - not choking.
"What're you laughing at?" I ask as I chewed on another cookie. Adrien fell on the floor - laughing - as he pointed at the sign by the cookies. It read:
Soft-baked Cookies infused with Vodka and Absinthe
(Warning: Do not eat more than 3 cookies. Over consumption will lead to immediate tipsiness)
Oh no. This is not good. Who knows what I might tell Adrien?
"You're up for a bumpy ride, Cookie Girl. I think I might enjoy this," said Adrien as he sat down in a lazy boy nearby. My body started to take control. I started to Whip & Nae Nae, Bop, Dab, and Hit the Quan to the extremely classical music very very awkwardly. I pretended that the cookies were bug eyes as I buzzed around the cabin like a busy bee collecting pollen from flowers. I took a piece of steak and covered my eye with it as if I was beaten up by some guy and earned a nasty black eye. I might have slipped and fallen on my butt at some point or given Adrien a back massage. I don't remember. All I remember was that I whispered a few words in Adrien's ear before darkness swarmed my vision and my cheek hit the fuzzy floor.

This part will be in Adrien's POV
"Hotsie, hot. Are these clothes. Pantsy, pants. Under these pants I'm wearing. Shortsie, shorts. I'm wearing shorts. Kitty, cat. I love you a lot," whispered Marinette in my ear before she collapsed on the floor. My heart skipped a beat while my mind whizzed in confusion at her words. What does she mean by "love" and why was she talking about her pants? I hope she only means she loves me as a friend. Only as a friend. A friend. And as a friend, I am obliged to clean her up and bring her to our seats.
I pick up her petite frame in my arms and carry her to our seats. I gently lay her body on the bed. I take a few wet wipes from the hygiene kit, slowly place her head on my lap and wipe off the make-up from her face. After all these years of modeling, I've learned that it's best to apply moisturizer after removing my make up so I do the same for Mari. I then slowly take out the bobby pins from her raven blue crown. Her hair cascades in waves on my lap and on the bed, making it easier for me to brush out the tangles in them. I then lay her on the bed and call a flight attendant to take off Mari's pant overalls (I hope her rhyme meant that she needed to change her clothes) and replace them with the soft cotton pajama bottoms they provide on the plane.
I lean on the door-frame and stare at the girl who I met a few hours ago, even though it felt like I met her in every past lifetime I've ever had. And then I thought I want to hold her. I want to hug her and kiss her goodnight. I want to be there with her when the nightmares give her a fright. I want to hold her hair back when she needs to puke when she wakes up. I want to make her laugh and smile. I want to hold her hand when she's scared. I want to take care of her. I want to be with her when she gets tipsy. I want to be the guy who would bring her home safely. I want to be the guy who would take her to the places she desires to go to. I want to be the guy who would call her silly nicknames and make her giggle. I want to be hers and I know it, but I couldn't do anything about it because I had someone else and she needed me as well. So I decide to sit in the lazy boy instead of tucking her in bed because I know if I get any closer to her, my heart might the words I would never want to say out loud.
I love you too, Marinette, but I can't.
