(Don't play the music yet)
I don't know what came over me last night. I told myself that I wouldn't forgive him that easily, but I guess I just couldn't help it. I guess I'm that type of person or maybe I just can't get mad at people. It's really frustrating. Or maybe I really lo-
"Uh... Hello? Marinette Dupain-Cheng? Are you still there? Princess?" asked Adrien as he snapped his fingers in front of my eyes.
"Oh. What? Sorry, I just zoned out..." I mumbled. Adrien's smirk grew as he flicked the tip of my nose.
"Ouch! That hurt." I rubbed my nose and looked down as if I was a little kid whose lollipop was taken away.
"Aw, is Princess hurt? I'm sorry," said Adrien as he pulled me in for a hug,"but as I was saying, do you want to go to Lila and Arséne's Wedding with me? I need to know so I can match my dress - I mean - suit with yours."
"Dress? Really? I'd pay a lot to see that," I remarked, "Hmmm... What if I don't say yes?" I tried to make a serious face.
Tried.
"You're going to say yes." Adrien grinned as if he had already won.
"No," I said abruptly as I closed the door, but of course, he jammed his foot between the door and the doorframe.
Stupid catlike reflexes.
"I'm sorry! If it's about your nose, then I didn't mean to hurt you when I did it! Please. I'll do anything..." pleaded Adrien as he knelt on the floor.
Silly Kitty.
"Well... If you get me a bag of cookies... I'll probably say yes," I replied. My smirk grew as he dashed out of the apartment with a frantic look on his face.
Thirty minutes later, he was pounding on my door with 13 bags of cookies in his arms.
Of course I said yes.

I groggily wiped my eyes as I checked the time on my phone. 11:34 PM, it read. I fell back on my bed, exhausted and hungry as hell. I've been working on my dress for 5 days in a row now, and I just finished the embroidery on the dress. I'll sew on the finishing touches tomorrow, so I tucked the dress away in my closet.
"Everything here in Paris is so grand. It makes me feel like I'm so mediocre..." I groaned as I flopped my face onto the pillow after fixing the dress and brushing my teeth. "I need coffee but..."
"Someone said they needed coffee?" asked a voice from the back.
I instantly jumped up from my bed and grabbed my pair of scissors on instinct. "W-who's there? I'm armed and I have a black belt in taekwondo!" My hands shook, but I held my ground. I could only see darkness. The only light I had was the light that shined through the balcony doors from the moon that lit up the dark night.
"Relax, Princess! It's just me... But really? Taekwondo?" asked Adrien as he dropped down from the roof and onto the balcony like a cat.
"How did you? Anyway, I don't want to know. I just want coffee. Coffee..." I mumbled. I started to doze off until I felt something on my back. Adrien's hand held me up for support as he took the scissors out of my hands. Please don't see the dress, I secretly pleaded as he placed the scissors on the table. I really want to surprise him when I wear it on Lila and Arséne's wedding. I felt strong arms lift me up and carry me back to my bed.
