"well what is it?"
This was going to be bad and i knew it so denying my nervousness would be useless. i hated letting my gang sense my worry because it only put them on edge. I was supposed to be the fearless leader that they looked up too who would lead them into a war confident she would win. But being fearless in the gang world wouldn't get you to far because it makes it easier to misjudge fights.
"you know the black hand? Well um they are planning attack."
The Black Hand were one of the only gangs that ever caused a problem for us, they weren't rude or ruthless but they were strong and determined to be the best. They were a women's only gang that choose their name carefully. The World War I Black Hand were charged for the murder of Austria-Hungry's archduke Franz Ferdinand. The WWI Black Hand were not ruthless, they simply murder the Arch duke to show nationalism and support for Bosnia.
"Of course I know the Black Hand. Who are they attacking? I wouldn't mind supporting them if it was a worthy fight."
I had always admired the Black Hands gang leader, she was strong and fierce. The beautiful women was about 26 years old with black soft curly locks that cascaded down her slim figure and muscular back. She was about 10 years older than me give or take a few, making me want to be just like her. All her fighting plans were flawless and carefully planned out. She, and the rest of her gang liked to use older strategies from history to help them fight their wars, hence their name the Black Hand.
I had always been willing to join a gang up fight on some other gang with the Black Hand since they were very well respected, but they never asked for help and i didn't want to insult them by offering my small and sexy army to fight with them.
"Well actually us. They had been talking to a few other gangs and after they heard about your father's death they decided we were a threat that needed to be taken out of their way. I also think this is insane considering that we are not as strong as we used to be and how we have mellowed out but they sense that we will be coming back harder and stronger than ever before. I know its going to be very hard to beat them and that your dad just passed yesterday, but we don't have much choice. If we want to gain respect and keep ourselves alive then we don't have any other choice but to prepare ourselves for this."
Her voice and words stung in my ear like a bee; loud, straight forward, and harsh. I was in no condition to fight after being kicked out of my own house and having my dearest love one die just one day ago. I couldn't come up with a play of attack now or even later tonight or i should say tomorrow since it was past 2 am by now. I simply nodded and waited for more details hoping I would have a decent amount of time.
"We found out this information from one of the gangs that they told about our attack, they planned to attack in a few weeks so we do have a good amount of time but the downfall is that the longer the wait the stronger weapons they can gather up to battle."
I processed this quickly understanding that the few weeks we had to wait would make it harder to win, we needed to attack before they could ambush us.
"Plan our attack; we will ambush them first. Meeting adjurned." My voice held indefinite power despite the feelings of worry floating through me once again.
"Wait, Chrissy!"
Chrissy was my best friend, we had been through thick and thin and the thought to call her about a place to stay never ran through my mind. She had her own very luxurious apartment, and no doubt she'd let me stay there. She was my super pretty best friend with bleach blond hair and stunning greenish-blue eyes.
"Yeah? Whats up?! How are you holding up about your dad?"
That was the damned question I was ignore with all my mite, but Chrissy knew I needed someone to talk to, she knew everything about me. I was secretly crushed but I put up a front that concealed all of my feelings, a wall that only a few people could possible break down.
