Hopelessly in Love (Destiel/Sabriel)

20- Welcome Home

Sam got up the next morning and stumbled down the stairs making sure not to wake anyone else up. Of course, he was stumbling because he was still tired and so at the bottom of the stairs, he slipped and fell. Now, the bottom of the stairs isn't a long way down normally. Let us not forget that Sam is a moose. The bottom of the stairs might as well be 10 feet off the ground. So anyway, he slipped, fell and landed with a thud. "Owww" he moaned. Not long after, Gabe came bounding down the steps to find Sam on the ground.

"Sammy!" He gasped. In a flash he was by Sam's side, cradling Sam to his chest. But Sam didn't know this was happening. After he fell, he had enough time to say, "ow" before he passed out. Suddenly, Dean and Cas were there because why the hell not? "What the hell did you do Gabriel?!?" Dean asked, obviously angry. "Why are you instantly blaming my brother?!" Cas yelled at Dean, "oh I don't know maybe because he was down here when we found my brother!" Dean shot back

"Both of you stop it!" Gabe shouted at the both of them, "Cas, thank you for defending me but I can protect myself. And Dean, I didn't do anything. I heard a thud and came downstairs to find Sam like this. I think he fell and hit his head." Dean clearly didn't like this as he picked up Sam bridal style and said to the Novak brothers, "Car. Now."

The drive to the ER was uncomfortable to say the least. When they finally got there, Dean carried Sam inside and doctors immediately started asking what had happened and questions like that. They pulled up Sam's record and surprise surprise, it was completely clean. He had no health issues, no accidents, nothing. They got him on an IV and rolled him to a room until further notice.

Gabe leaned over his boyfriend, tears threatening to spill like a waterfall over  "Don't die on me Sam. I didn't die on you, you can't die on me." His voiced cracked and he couldn't stop the tears that were rolling down his face.

At that moment, a doctor who was being an eavesdropping ass decided to walk in and be an eavesdropping, know-it-all ass. "You're boyfriend isn't going to die." He said, emphasizing the word, "boyfriend" and saying it with disdain that he wasn't even trying to hide. This infuriated Gabriel, so he walked over and put a hand to the doctor's throat, pushing him until he was up against the wall. "Listen to me and listen well you homophobic piece of shit." Gabe growled, each word dripping with venom, " I don't want my boyfriend to die and I don't give two shits about your opinions on LGBT relationships, people, on any of it. I want a different doctor because my boyfriend deserves so much better than you. Get out of my sight you homophobic ass." With that, he let go, leaving the doctor gasping for air. The doc then proceeded to walk out of the room muttering words like, "abomination" and "piece of shit"

Dean walked in looking confused. Provably because he was. He looked at Gabe, "what the hell did you do to him?" He asked incredulously. "Oh nothing." Gabe replied nonchalantly," just choked him near to death because he was a homophobic piece of shit." Dean then did something he never thought he would do. He applauded Gabe. Gabe stood up for himself, Sam and the whole LGBTQ+ nation.

"Good job Gabe" Dean said, "never thought I'd say it but, good job."

Dean might be starting to like Gabe, Gabe stood up for himself and tons of others, the only bad thing I'd that Sam hasn't woken up yet. When's the author gonna make that happen? Oh wait, I'm the author! Hehehehe.
