"Attention senior students. The graduation ceremony will be held tomorrow at the state fairgrounds. If you are graduating, you will receive a form with the information from your homeroom teacher. Thank you"

Dean was used to hearing this. He had heard it for the past four years. He hated hearing it. He knew he wouldn't graduate. There was no way. He would just be back at that same highschool again next year. He knew it. It always happened. Why would this time be different?

He was snapped from his thoughts. "I'll call you in alphabetical order to come up and get your paper. If your graduating. Charlotte Bradbury." Charlie walked up to the front of the room, "it's Charlie." She said as she took her paper. She turned on her heel and walked back to her seat. "Joanna Harvelle" Jo grimaced and walked to the front, "it's Jo." She said through gritted teeth. And so it continued like this. "Castiel Novak." Of course he was graduating. He was so smart.

Cas walked up and, taking the paper from the teacher, did something Dean thought he would never hear. Cas sassed a teacher. The most feared and hated teacher at that. "It's Cas." He said. The room went deadly silent as the boy who had said barely a word all year had sassed a teacher. "What was that Mr. Novak?" Mr. Alistair said, not believing the words that had just come out of his mouth. "I said, it's Cas. Did you not hear me or are you just to dumb to comprehend what I said?" Cas shot at Mr. Alistair, disgust lacing every word. The class had their eyes glued to Cas and Alistair. Eyes wide, mouths open, silence filling the room. "Watch your tone with me Mr. Novak." Alistair warned. Cas just laughed, "or what? You'll have me expelled? That can't happen. Last day of school means we get out in-" he looked at the clock, "30 minutes. No one can be expelled on the last day of school and y'know what? I'm happy I'm graduating. Because that means that I don't have to deal with you or the way you bully students next year and I pity the people who get you as a teacher." With that, he turned and walked back to his seat. He sat down and the classroom erupted in cheers. The boy who had said next to nothing, had just stood up to the most feared and hated teacher in the whole school, and had been absolutely fearless.

Dean looked at Cas as his jaw pretty much hit the floor. "What the hell?" He said, "I mean, good job. Great job. But what the hell?" Cas just stared back, "he picks on people and doesn't really teach us anything. He's a piece of crap." Dean just kissed him. When they pulled away," I love you." Cas laughed, "I love you too."

"Dean Winchester." Dean looked up. "What?" He asked. Mr. Alistair only glared. "Come get your information paper. You're, by some miracle, graduating." Dean was shocked. He didn't expect to graduate. He carefully made his way up to the front of the class and took the paper, making his way back to his seat. Cas kissed him, "you did it!" He said, "you passed! I'm so proud of you and I am most definitely hopelessly in love with you."

And so the rest of the 30 minutes was spent celebrating the fact that Dean was graduating.
