28- Hopelessly in Love

*time skip to graduation ceremony*   

"Castiel Novak." Cas crossed the stage, grabbing his diploma with one hand and shaking the principal's hand with the other. "Congratulations." Mr. Singer said in his gruff voice, "thank you, sir." Cas smiled back. "Dean Winchester." Dean was absolutely beaming as he walked across the stage and shook his uncle's hand, "congratulations son." Bobby said as he handed Dean his diploma, "thanks Bobby" Dean replied, his face starting to hurt from smiling so much. Both boys went back to their seats and grasped each other's hands. "I'm so proud of you Dean." Cas said, kissing Dean's cheek. "Thanks Cas. I'm proud of me, too." Dean laughed. Other names were called and they walked across the stage, got their diploma, went back to their seats, repeat with the next kid. It went on like this for a good 1-2 hours.

"Congratulations Dean! I'm so proud of you son!" John Winchester was hugging his eldest son who had just graduated highschool. He turned to Cas, "and thank you for helping him. He woulda been back at that school next year if it wasn't for you." Cas blushed, "well, um, I, uh, I-I didn't do much." He said, being extremely modest. John just rolled his eyes and smiled, "hey, who wants celebratory ice cream? It's on me!" Everyone cheered and piled into the impala, John and Dean up front, Cas and Sammy in the back.

They all drove to the best ice cream joint in town and they each got a cone. Well, Sammy got sorbet. Raspberry lemonade sorbet to be exact. Anyway, John got chocolate, Dean got chocolate chip cookie dough, and Cassie got mint chocolate chip. They thanked John and ate their frozen desserts in a comfortable silence.

Afterwards, John drove Cas home and let Dean walk him to the door. "Will I ever see you again?" Cas whispered, eyes full of worry. Dean kissed him, "of course you'll see me again... Angel." He said, "we'll talk and visit each other over the summer and we might go to the same college and everything. It'll be okay Cassie." He hugged the slightly younger boy before pulling away and kissing him again. John honked the horn, signaling Dean to hurry up. Dean glared and turned back to Cas, "see ya tomorrow alright?" He said. Cas just smiled and kissed him once more, "of course." With that, he went inside. Only for Gabriel to run out of the house.

Gabe bolted out of the house, he didn't think, he just did. Sam got out and Gabe barreled into him. "I'm gonna miss you, Sammy." Gabe said, his voice muffled by the taller boy's shirt, "it's not goodbye. We'll talk and visit over the summer." Sam said, giving Gabe a big hug. He pulled away and reached up to kiss Sam, "Well then, until next time Samantha." Gabe said before going back into the house. "Mikey the author is making me sad!" Lucifer complained as Michael hugged him and said, "it's okay. The author is making a sequel. It'll be alright." He guided Luci back into the house but before he did, Luci kissed Michael full on the lips for the first time. Michael kissed back immediately. "Alright Sam, pay up." Dean said as he got back in the car. Sam huffed and gave Dean his only Hammy Ham- I mean $10 bill. Dean laughed as they pulled out of the driveway to go home.

Michifer officially sailed, Destiel already miss each other, and Sabriel is planning what they'll do tomorrow. All ships are happy as their summer finally begins...

Hey guys! So that was the final chapter of my fanfic "Hopelessly in Love"! Oh my goodness, I had so much fun writing this and I kind've want to make an epilogue but I think I'll save that for the last story, whenever that's written. But as Michael said, I am doing a sequel! I am confirming it right here, right now! A sequel will be written! But, thank you guys so much for all the votes, comments, and reads! It's been quite the experience getting to write this story for all of you amazing people! I'll see you in the next book!
