Nat's pov
Waking up I smell the sweet smell of pancakes and eggs in the morning getting up with a smile plastered on my face I slip on my slippers, fluffy black ones a gift from clint, and go down to see who was actually cooking, because that doesn't happen in avengers tower it's all take out. As soon as I walk into the kitchen I see Steve wearing a apron holding a plate with fried eggs and pancakes on, I smile and pull him into a hug
"Good morning" I say
"Morning" he replies
"Hey why are you up so early?" I ask still in his embrace
"Could ask you the same question"
I smile and look at him
"Well I was awake and I thought I'd surprise you" he says handing me the plate I smell in the sweet smell of the pancakes
"Mmm my favourite thank you"
He smiles back, a real smile, after what happened with the Bucky situation he hasn't been smiling as often as he did before the whole mess so it's nice to see it again
"Hey I was thinking do you want to go out today to the park have a walk bring some food for a picnic" he says, I immediately feel the butterfly's in my stomach, a picnic I've never had one of those before.
"Yeah sure" I say "I'd love that"
"Good better finish that up we're going in 15 minutes" I grin a he leaves the kitchen and immediately scoff down the pancakes and eggs
"Um didn't know you were such a good cook Rogers" I whisper as I continue eating.
