"Grayson where are we going?" I ask, holding onto his arm due to the fact I could not see. All I hear are small laughs from him and him shushing me. I squeeze him arm tighter every once in awhile.
Cameron dropped us off somewhere and now we are 'walking' to our destination. I thought of all things we could be doing but nothing seemed to add up. I bite my lip from one, concentration on trying to find out where we are going, and two, because of how nervous I am because I don't know my surroundings.
"Hayden, stop thinking about it. You'll never guess." His voice is low which makes me even more nervous.
"Grayson, please just tell me."
"Baby, calm down. We are almost there." He laughs, pulling me closer. I roll my eyes under the blindfold, even though he couldn't see me. "Stop rolling your eyes." He demands.
I let out a huff and just tell myself to relax. Grayson knows what he is doing and I trust him. I nod my head and just listen to the sounds around me. Birds chirping, our feet hitting the hard ground, and Grayson humming.
About another five minutes of walking, Grayson stops us in our tracks. I feel him lift his arms up and untie the blindfold that was wrapped around my head.
"Ready?" He asks. I nod my head.
"Okay." He says and removes the blindfold. As soon as he does, I am in awe. I feel the biggest smile grow on my face before turning to Grayson and pulling him into the biggest hug.
I screwed my eyes shut as I hugged my tightly. "Grayson you are seriously so cute and romantic." I tell him. I pull away, my arms still wrapped around his neck as I stare up into his mesmerizing eyes.
"You like it?"
"No. I love it. This is amazing. You're amazing. Oh my gosh I love you." I reach up and kiss his cheek before pulling away and looking around again.
He brought us to where we first hung out as the two of us. He grabbed my hand and intertwined our hands as we made our way to the familiar dock. Memories of that day came flooding back starting with the Panera, taking photos on the rock, and swimming in this pond/lake.
Only difference this time is Grayson had a blanket laid out and a basket that was ontop of it. "This, is so cute."
Grayson sat down before I sat opposite of him. He reached into the basket, pulling out two plates and two wine glasses. I give him a look.
"Don't worry, I just got grape juice. I'm not a bad kid." He jokes.
"I'd beg to differ." I snort.
"Hayden." He pouts.
"I'm playing." I smile, reaching across to grab his hand. He gives me a smile back before setting up our little picnic date he had planned.
He poured us some grape juice before pulling out some cute little sandwiches he made. BLTs to be exact. We ate our food and let me tell you, he makes a bomb BLT. He makes bomb everything. It was like heaven.
After we had finished eating, Grayson put on some quite soothing music before asking for my hand. He pulls me up to my feet and puts one hand on my back while holding the other. "You look so beautiful." He tells me. No matter how many times he tells me this, I'll never be able to not blush.
"I love you Grayson. You've made me the happiest girl since I met you." I tell him, laying my head on his chest as we lightly sway to the music. He hums along and kisses my head every so often.
"and you deserve it, Hayden. I would do absolutely anything for you." He comments. I smile to myself and look up to him, placing a small kiss to his soft crimson lips.
