Five

It's been a week since the river and since we went over to the twins house. Since then, Emercyn has been feeling sick. I think she definitely is. She was throwing up all night, last night. Aunt Macy says she'll be taking her to Doctors today though, so that's good.

Basically all week I've been comforting Emercyn, and FaceTiming her from my room because she didn't want to get me sick. She keeps telling me to make plans with Cami, Haylee, Or Ethan and Grayson or something, but I don't want her to feel as if I'm taking her friends.

"Call Cami! If you don't I will. GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!" She says over FaceTime. She sits in her bed, wearing one of Ethan's hoodies, and wrapped in a million blankets. She looked terrible and I felt terrible for her.

"Alright , Alright. Calm your tits." I tell her. She smirks before hanging up on me. I decided I'd text Cami.

Me- Hey Cami, It's Hayden! I was wondering if you wanted to go to the mall or something?
Cami :)- Totally! What time and I'll meet you there?
Me- Is like.. in an hour okay? I just need to change.
Cami :)- Perfect. See you then :*.

I lock my phone before going to my closet. What to wear, What to wear. No matter how much clothes I have, I still feel like I have none. Though I'd say I actually have a decent amount.

I grabbed a loose black v neck, slipping it on and tying it in a not on the side, and putting on a pair of comfortable stripped shorts, and my dirty white vans. I really needed to clean them. My hair fell into it's natural waves from after my shower. I do my brows, put on mascara, a little bit of concealer and powder so it wouldn't crease, and a tiny bit of bronzer. I put on my peppermint chapstick and a bit of perfume.

When I'm done getting ready, I grab my purse and head downstairs. Aunt Macy sits on the couch on her phone, playing some game. I laugh before sitting next to her.

"Is there any way you could take me to the mall? Emercyn is begging for me to do something with out her." I tell her. She laughs before standing. "Sounds good, I'll pick you up after Em's appointment." She tells me and I nod agreeing.

We get into her Nissan Murano, and drive off to the mall. I decided to text Cami.

Me- Meet in the food courte?
Cami :)- Alright, Almost there! :)

Aunt Macy drops me off at the entrance to the food courte, and right when I'm about to walk in I hear Cami shout my name. I give her a hug before she tells me she wants to get something to eat. She decided on Chic Fil A, I as well got some of course.

When we get our food and sit down we start up conversation.

"It's sad Emercyn is sick. I heard Ethan might be coming down with something." She tells me. It must be from when they were cuddling last Friday.. but they haven't been together since.

"Well they were cuddling last Friday. Em fell asleep on Ethan." I tell her.

"That's gotta be it." She tells me. It could be, who knows.

"Maybe I should contact Grayson. He gave me his number Friday." I say taking a sip of my sweet tea. Cami raises an eyebrow and I give her a confused look.

"Grayson gave you his number?" She looks shocked, but I just nod my head.

"He NEVER gives his number to people that soon after he's met them." She says. I bite my lip but don't think too much about it. "Have you texted him yet?" She asks and I shake my head.

"Text him! Like right now! Ask how Ethan is!" She says smiling. She has something up her sleeve I can tell by the grin on her face.

I do as told taking out my phone and text him.

Me- Hey Grayson, It's Hayden. I heard Ethan might be getting sick. Hope he get's well. Em is sick too.

"I sent this," I say showing Cami. She smiles and nods.

"Knowing Grayson, If he has that hots for you, he'll text you within the next five minutes." She says dipping her fries in chick fil a sauce.

My phone vibrates on the counter, the screen reading 'Grayson Dolan'. I look Cami and she whispers "Told you so."

"There's no way Grayson likes me." I say shaking me head. Though I'm not complaining if he does. Grayson's super sweet, funny, caring, has perfect- wait what is wrong with me? I'm not here for boys. I'm here for myself.

Grayson Dolan- Yeah:( now i have  no one to hang out with! Ethan told me Emercyn is really sick. I bet it's from the PDA they had going on Friday.

I laugh before showing Cami.

"Ask him to hang out! That's probably why he said 'I have no one to hang out with'" Cami begs. "He'll def say yes." She adds with a grin.

She ends up taking my phone typing something.

Me- Same. We could hang out if you'd like?

My eyes are wide when she gives me back the phone. I shake my head as we throw our stuff away and go shop.

After the mall, Cami's dad took me home which was so nice of him, because Em's appointment was running late. The whole time at the mall, Cami was talking about how she think's Grayson likes me. But I don't think so. We're just friends.

She also went on about how 'cute' we would be. I would just laugh and shake my head. But I do have to thank her, because now tomorrow, I am hanging out with Grayson. I'm not quite sure what we are gonna do, but I do know we are doing something fun. He wont tell me.

Grayson Dolan- Wear a swimsuit tomorrow. That's all I'm saying.
Me- Y
Me- who know's. u could be trying to drown me.
Me- grayson............. don't kill me D:
Grayson Dolan- I could never :)

I smile before locking my phone and going downstairs. Uncle Mark and Aunt Macy were at the table talking about food.

"What would like to eat tonight?" Uncle Mark asks.

"Is Emercyn eating with us? How is she? I didn't notice you guys had come home." I say sitting with them.

"She is has strep." Aunt Macy says. I hope Ethan is doing fine.. "But she should be better in a few days. You should be fine around her since you had your tonsils taken out. She is eating, she want's McDonalds." I laugh at the thought of McDonalds. I haven't had that in years.

"McDonalds is cool. I'll text u what I want?" She nods and both her and Uncle Mark leave to get the food. I got upstairs and nock on Em's door.

"Come in!"

I open the door and find her sitting in bed smiling into the phone. She looks at me and smiles. "Hey, how are you doing?" I ask.

"Better." She says, her voice a bit scratchy.

"How's your boyfriend?" I ask with a smirk. She blushes and looks down at her phone. I hear a laugh come from it, sounding a bit like Grayson.

"He's not my boyfriend and -" She was in the middle of a sentence when she was interrupted by a 'Yet'. We both laugh, her telling, Grayson I'm sure, to shut his mouth.

"So back to what I was saying-"

"THIS COULD BE US BUT YOU PLAYIN!" Ethan and Grayson both sing, interrupting her again. She groans before shaking her head and flipping them off.

"Ethan how are you doing?" I ask because I'm sure Emercyn was trying to tell me, but the boys kept interrupting.

"Better as well. Got some medicine. I as well, have strep." He pouts and Emercyn tells him sorry and goes on about how it's her fault. Then he goes all sweet on her and is like 'It's okay babe, we can be sick together.' Yes he called her BABE. I legit fangirled for her and she threw a pillow at me.

After a while of chatting with them, I decided to leave them alone. Because I'm sure the two miss each other. But before I leave, I shout "KISS HER THROUGH THE PHONE!" and Grayson ended up singing the song causing me to laugh.

I'm having a great time here. I can't wait for Payton to come as well. She'll absolutely love it here and she'll the friends here. I never want to leave.
