Josie's POV

My fingers tap nervously against the cold blue plastic chair as I wait patiently for someone open the processing door. I find myself biting my lip as I look around the small beige room filled with other people waiting for their loved one. We have been waiting here since two this afternoon and it is now going on four.

"Relax." Luke says in a whisper leaning over slightly, I stop fidgeting with my fingers and press my back further into the chair.

Moments pass before I see Calum making his way through the long corridor followed by two general officers. He stops by a window where he has to sign a few documents before being released. The pen swipes his signature on the papers swiftly as he waits for an officer to unlock the coded door.

I rush to stand up from my seat clumsy almost falling over in an attempt to reach him first.

His arms wrap securely around my small frame as I hug him tightly.

"Even though it has not even been twenty-four hours I still missed you and I worried about you like crazy." I say stepping back and looking at him.

"Trust me babe the feeling was mutual." He says just as him and Luke exchange a bro-hug.

He takes our fingers and intertwines them as we exit through the metal detectors that lead out to the main lobby.

"Did you get charged with anything?" Luke asks entering the rotating door.

"I guess Justin explained to Kian's parents the reason behind what happened which made them drop everything. Before hand they were going to add a shit load of unnecessary charges which would have ended us up in court." Calum explains as we get into Luke's car, Calum sitting in the passengers seat and I sit in the back.

"Well at least you gave that cunt what he had coming." Luke says starting up the car and looks in the rear view mirror to look at me.

"I swear Josie if he ever even steps a foot near you when I'm not around much worse shit will happen." Calum stresses and I swallow the lump that formed in my throat.

"Where are we heading?" Luke asks as he pulls out of the parking spot along the curb.

"Could we go to Josie's, I'm not ready to talk to my parents." Calum asks.

"Yeah but not to stress you out even more my mother is home and I don't know if you want to meet her yet." I state and he shrugs his shoulders.

"If I can get sent to jail for defending you, I am sure as hell I am ready to meet your mother besides you'll be coming home with me when I have to explain everything to my parents." Calum says turning around to face me.

I turn the knob of the front door opening it and holding it for the boys. I shut the door before leading them into the living room with me, I look around the corner and see my mother is in her office.

I motion them over and knock softly on the white french doors that enter the medium sized office.

"Hey mom, this is Calum and Luke." I say as she turns around setting down a folder, she looks up and smiles.

Calum goes in for a hug as Luke just stands on the other side of the door awkwardly.

"I'm assuming you're the boy my little girl has been talking about." She states and smiles before nodding her head.

"So you talk about me?" He smirks looking over towards me.

"Don't be too full of yourself, I only talk about you on occasions." I say and shake my head.

"I heard about your run in with her father and I just want to say I have already taken a liking to you." My mom says truthfully which causes both Calum and I to smile.

"James is an old tight wad so don't ever pay to much attention to him, he doesn't really hold any authority around here anymore." She says scrunching up her nose.

"Thank you Ms. Easton, you won't have to worry about Jos when she's around me. She's in good hands." Calum states and I think back to last night for a short moment of time.

"Please call me Lauren. I'll be fine with you just as long as you keep everything in your pants and don't get her knocked up, she has big plans for her future and doesn't need her football and other goals going down the drain." My cheeks turn to a dark shade of crimson at my mothers comments and Cal just chuckles.

"Ok mom we'll just be out in the living room, I'm inviting some other friends over." I say pulling along Calum and Luke.

"Alright sweetie, I'm heading off to the other office in a little while." She says before getting back to work.

Calum and Luke sit on the couch as I plop down beside Cal. I take out my phone and text in the group message for everyone to come over and hang out. I wait to see that it sends before resting my head upon Cal's shoulder.

My mind begins to drift off in the direction of Kian and thinking about the little prick he is. We have been friends for the longest going back to elementary school but last night goes to show how much of a sick person he is not to mention the time he tried to make out with me at the house party a while back.

Him laying in a hospital bed makes me feel some sort of remorse but at the same time he had that coming.

If anything made me want to lay down the bottle permanently, last night did.

"Can we order some pizza or something?" Luke groans throwing his head back as he looks down at his phone.

"If we all chip in we should call for some Chinese food." Calum comments looking over in Luke's direction.

"I have twenty on me..." I say.

"I have ten." Luke adds, "I have fifteen so that should be enough for everyone by the time they get here." Calum finishes before pulling up the number of a restaurant in town that delivers.

When Calum is on the phone I stand up and walk up the stairs to head to my bedroom. I open a drawer where I store my leggings, I unbutton my jeans and slip on the leggings. I grab the jumper that Calum let me 'borrow' the night we had our first proper date smiling to myself. I shut my door and jog down the stairs.

"Bye hun, I'll be back sometime later tonight. If anyone decides to spend the night please keep the boys downstairs or split them up between the two spare bedrooms." She says poking her head through the front door.

"Okay, love you mom." I say just as I get to the last step. The door shuts just to be opened a few seconds later.

"Since I know you will probably ignore that last request just no funny business you hear?" She asks and I hear the boys snicker which causes me to laugh.

"You got it mom." I say snapping my fingers and pointing to her which gets a smile in return.
