Chapter 12

-8:07 am: My room-

I woke up to sound of loud commotion going on.
My eyes shot up as I tried to hear what was going on.
I got up, stretching and shacking my fur before leaving.
I yawned as I walked down the slope near my room; the cold, rocky surface almost not enough to wake me up.
As I walked down slopes and paths, I finally reached the entrance, or what I think it was.
It was a faintly lit cave, there were flowers and plants that were on the inside and the outside of the cave.
My ears shot up as I herd a loud cry echo though the caves.
"No! You will not!" But then a loud wave of voices echoed, screaming over eachother; they were familiar voices but I couldn't tell who was who.
Suddenly, the voices stopped, and I mustered all the courage to go in.
My paw steps softly echoed through the cave as I trotted to the other side.
As I reached the cave's exit, I saw everyone crowded together, blocking me from seeing who they were talking to.
"What's going on?" I mumbled to Jake, who sat behind everyone.
"Well, all I've herd was that someone had invaded our territory and eaten some of our food! Isabelle says it's a trainer pokémon." Jake answered, a small growl of disgust following his words.
With that in mind, I pushed through the crowd, trying to avoid getting caught by Rose( she would have had my head if she knew what I was doing.)
When I finally saw the imposter, their eyes widened with shock as they dropped the oran berry it was holding.
"Eevee!?" It shouted looking at me with soft eyes.
Everyone looked at me in shock and confusion. Especially Jake, who also managed to push through the crowd.
Tears clouded my vision, I didn't care if they were watching.
Then, I cried out, making the Pokémon almost flinch at my words.
"I...I thought you were dead!" I shouted my tears blurring my vision.
I looked at him, my partner, my....
Wait...
My vision slowly began to clear as I focused on the being.
It wasn't who I wanted.
He wasn't Pikachu.
It....
It was Teddiursa.
"I...I.." I stuttered, blushing in embarrassment.
Teddiursa stepped forward, he look completely stunned.
"I found you, after all this time.." Teddiursa muttered.
all of a sudden Teddiursa grabbed me, pulling me into his embrace.
I hugged him back, although he wasn't Pikachu, he was alive and that's all that mattered.
Teddiursa released me looking at me with happy eyes.
"I thought you had died in the fire, the camp!" A cried, a wave of relief hitting me.
"Camp? Wow Eevee, what crazy adventures have been doing without me?" Teddiursa smiled.
"Get back Eevee! He's dangerous!" Jake growled, pushing me away from Teddiursa.
"He's not dangerous Jake! He's my friend, he's the Teddiursa I mentioned in the story!" I replied, giggling a little when I herd Rose's outburst.
"Thank the stars! I thought I was going to go full fairy beast on this guy!"
"Can he stay? He's not a threat, and..." I tried to say.
"It's alright, I actually have a camp of my own." Teddiursa interrupted.
"A camp? Where is it?" Shadow asked, stepping forward.
"Well I would show you, but It'd be a waste of energy, It's almost going to be dark." Teddiursa suggested.
"That's a good idea, it would give me some time to prepare us some medicine in case one of us gets injured." Genevieve spoke up, glancing at the others.
"Then it is settled." Shadow nodded before turning to walk back into the base camp.
Everyone left except Jake, Teddiursa, Rose, and I.
"See you tomorrow." Teddiursa chirped.
I nodded before giving Teddiursa a friendly nuzzle.
Teddiursa smiled and waved before running into the forest's darkness.
"Come along children, you need your rest for tomorrow's trip." Rose purred, gesturing me and Jake inside the cave.
I happily followed, Jake following.
I can't wait! I haven't been on an adventure in months!
"So Eevee..." Jake called, catching up so we could walk together.
"Do you like Teddiursa?" He quietly asked.
"Of course! He's a great friend. I think you'll get along." I purred.
"So you think of him as...just a friend?" Jake's tone got happier as we reached a path to the dinning area.
"Of course! What else would me and Teddiursa be?" I reassured Jake, I little confused by his question.
"Good." I heard Jake mumble to himself.
When we reached my room, Jake gave me a quick nuzzle before trotting back up the path.
Rose opened to door and tucked me in, giving me a affectionate kiss on the head before leaving.
Ah... sleep.
I shut my eyes and enjoyed those peaceful hours.

-??:??: My room-

My eyes shot open to the sound of banging on my door.
Who? What? Why? Why would there be someone up at this hour?
I stretched and opened the door, not even bothering to groom myself.
I opened to see Jake, his fur nicely groomed.
"Jake? What time is it? What do you want?" I drowsily whispered, yawning in his presence.
"Come with me." Jake purred, his tail pointing up the path outside my room.
Not even questioning it, I followed him.
As long as I get back to bed soon, I'll be fine.
He lead me to a familiar place.
Or was it? I was too tired to care.
"Where are we?" I asked looking at the open sky.
" This is Star Hill. " Jake informed sitting on a patch of grass.
I sat next to him, giving out a small yawn.
"Oh ok, why am I here?" I grouchily asked narrowing my eyes to look at the crescent moon.
"Because I have to tell you something, and ask you something too." Jake blushed, looking at the grass.
What in the name of Eevee is going on?
Jake brush his fur against mine, making me blush as well as wake me up I bit.
Whhaaaaaaaaaaaat?
That's all my mind could process, I am so confused.
"Eevee, I have something to admit." Jake softly announced.
"Umm. Go ahead." I awkwardly replied.
Jake wrapped his tail around mine.
"I.. I LOVE YOU!" Jake blurted out, making me flinch.
Hshdhsjsjqjjsjf WHAT?!
I pulled away from his grasp.
"Eevee, I know it may come as a surprise, but, from the moment I saw you, I fell in love. You're everything to me." Jake shouted.
What?! That just went to one to a hundred real quick!
Jake calmed down, sitting next to me.
"What I mean is, I like like you, and....I hope you like me back..." Jake softly trailed off.
"Look, Jake, you're really nice and all that...but.." I said, looking at Jake as he slowly narrowed his eyes in anger an disbelief.
" I don't love you Jake, I never have. Everytime You've nuzzled me it felt awkward to me, I'm sorry." I carefully brought out, a pang of guilt following over me as I watched Jake's fave turn blank.
"I...see....so.....he won." Jake sadly gave in, sitting down before me.
"What are you talking about?" I asked, looking confused.
"That..... stupid Pikachu, he always wins...." Jake cried.
I stared in silence, not wanting to escalate anything further.
"Sorry." I mumbled, looking at Jake with soft eyes.
I think he should have his alone time....
Jake really looked torn by the situation, so I backed away.
Maybe I could go get Rose to talk to him..Yeah! That's a good idea!
I turned and started to walk down the path, but froze when I heard Jake's voice.
"No. Not this time, he's not going to win this time." Jake chuckled.
I broke out into a sprint, he's gone full crazy! I have to find Rose quick!
As I was running I felt as if a was being chased, no matter hoe much a looked behind myself and saw no one, I felt as if I was being chased.
I gasped as I felt a forse slam into me, I looked to see a silver flash of fur.
I cried loudly of help.
ROSE!
GENEVIEVE!
SHADOW!
MATT!
JESS!
GRACE!
ANYONE!
HELP ME!

I looked at Jake as he pinned me down onto the floor.
I growled, and tried to wriggle free but I wouldn't work.
"Let go Jake!" I growled trying to wriggle free from his grasp.
"Calm down." Jake's voice was serious and yet, cold.
"What are you going to do to me?" I barked trying to push Jake off.
"Claiming my victory. Pikachu has won, but not this time." Jake grinned.
I tried to push Jake away as he tried to kiss me.
BRHSJEJAJQJSJJDJAJSMSJSSN NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I tried to push him awake but his strength overpowered mine.

AN: Welp, he's a crazy chapter for you guys, Sorry it was short, but I'll try to make up for it on the adventure chapter.
