"Come on, wake up! It's not that hard." A familiar voice shouted, I stretched my tail and ears before walking out of the small shelter I'd been sleeping in for the night, time to get moving though. I looked at Angel, and she smiled at me.
"Come on darling! you don't want to miss breakfast!" She spun around before grabbing my paw and leading me to some assorted berries: Oran, Pecha, all the good stuff!
I munched down the berries, Angel eating some too.
"So, where are we going today?" Angel asked me.
"I've told you a million times Angel, we're going to find her." I responded, rolling my eyes at Angel's constant questioning.
"Well, every time I ask you that question, you never tell me who is special girl really is." Angel replied, grooming her rabbit like ears.
"This girl, how do I explain her? She's got these beautiful brown eyes. Her fur is softer than a...well the softest poke'mon alive's! And when she smiles, I feel that time itself has stopped." I blushed, just thinking about the girl, my friend, my partner.
"And, tell me how long did you, ya know....actually spend time together?!" Angel shouted, I could tell she was a bit agitated.
"Oh, we were almost always together...That is, until we got separated." I sighed, remembering what had happened, then coming back into reality.
"Well, you've got me now. Right?" Angel smiled, reaching for my hand, then grabbing it.
"Let's go, we don't have all day to find her." I grunted, then started walking, yanking Angel's hand away.
"So, what does this girl look like?" Angel asked, Was she even listening?
"I told you ten second ago. I'm not going to repeat myself." I told Angel, it's like she had the mind of a Magicarp.
"Ugh, you never tell me anything! And here I was thinking we were in this together." Angel huffed, crossing her arms.
"Well, we could go back to that Eeveelution camp, maybe she's there." I asked, bounding toward the camp, or rather, the way to the camp.
Angel rolled her eyes but followed me anyway.
We reached the camp territory, A familiar Eevee was there waiting for us.
I shook my head, It isn't her. I told myself, It isn't her.
"Well, I'd thought you guys were gone for good by now, what brings you here?" The Eevee spoke, I pushed away his welcoming.
"Skip the pleasantries, you know why we're here." I grunted, looking through his blue eyes.
"You mean, why you're here." He corrected me, I glanced at Angel, who looked at me with sympathetic eyes.
"Angel? She has nothing to do with this. Now tell me Jake, is she here?" I asked, growling.
"I've told you once, I'll tell you again. She not here." Jake growled, I could tell that he was lying.
All of a sudden my ears perked up, as I heard a familiar voice.
"Jake! Wait up!" she called.
"You better leave friend, before something bad happens." Jake glared at us, but I was unfazed.
"She is here! And you're a liar!" I yelled.
"Oops, looks like your out friend. Better luck next time." Jake devilishly smirked, his blue eyes glowing.
Then, Jake pulled out a bottle of liquid. He opened it and threw it onto Angel and I.
We coughed as I smoke emerged from the gas, I gasped as Angel had passed out. The smoke is poisoned!
I quickly ran, carrying Angel on my back as I ran deeper an deeper into the forest.
I suddenly collapsed, Angel rolling off me.
I crawled close to her, protecting her before passing out from inhaling the smoke.
