Chapter 21

-1:04pm: Pokémon Camp-

I walked with Jake and Angel at my side as we explored the Guild.

" Wow there sure are a lot of Pokémon here." Jake pointed out glancing back and forth at the bustling area, Pokémon running all over to shops and other tents.

Angel giggled, "That's only the half of it." Jake glanced at her.

" Have you been here before?" Jake asked, smiling at her.

"Have I been here? I live here! I work as part of a rescue team!" Angel smiled flicking her bushy tail happily.

"Really? You live here? I thought you lived in the forest!" I asked, looking at Angel with curious eyes.

Angel giggled, "No silly, I work here! Now... I wonder if my team mates are around. Hopefully they're around here and not on a mission." Angel sighed, looking around at the Poke'mon around us.

"Could you tell us what they look like? We could help you find them." Jake asked,  Angel's eyes widened happily as she turned around to us, " Well let's see....there's Madsie, a Flaafy. She's pink and fluffy. Then there's me, who's...here. And then there's Pikachu, he's my future sweetheart, he's so handsome.~" Angel swooned, spinning around happily.

"I see..Then we'll definitely keep an eye out for them. Thanks for the info Angel." Jake nodded his head.

"Yup! That's everyone!~" Angel smiled, turning back to continue looking for her friends.

We continued walking until we came to a halt, Jake and I looked at each other, then at Angel in confusion.

"What is it? Did you find your friends?" Jake asked, peering over Angel's shoulder.

"No. I wanted to show you guys something." Angel smiled, grabbing me and Jake's paws, we ran in pursuit, although it was a little tricky running on three paws.

"Angel! Slow down! We can't.." Before I could continue my paw slipped from Angel's grasp, and I tumbled onto the floor, I quickly shook the debris off my fur then ran after Angel.

I kept running, Where is she taking Jake?

Shortly after I finally caught up with the pair, my chest heaving as I tried to catch every bit of breath.

Jake walked to me, "You okay? I saw you take a tumble back there, but I couldn't get my paw free from Angel's paw.

"I'm fine, I just have a bit of dirt in my fur, I'll wash it off later. Anyways, where are we anyways?" I asked Jake looking around. A small stage in center of the area, Poke'mon crowded around it, I couldn't see Angel. Perhaps she's lost in the crowd? we better regroup with her.

"Follow me. And avoid big feet, some of these Poke'mon are way bigger then us." Jake flicked his tail before heading into the crowd, I followed him through everyone, and finally we reached the front of the stage, and there was Angel, looking up at the stage dazzled.

"Angel! I found Eevee." Jake spoke, Angel turned to us as we approached her; sitting next to her.

"Hey Eevee! Sorry about letting you go earlier! I just was too excited! Mistress Trink is apparently on today!" Angel squealed clapping her paws excitedly.

Before I could ask any further questions, a voice spoke loudly as a Poke'mon appeared on the stage.

"Greetings rescue and explorer teams! I welcome you to today's event. I'm Kangaskhan, your host for today! And this afternoon we welcome Mistress Trink to the stage!" The Kangaskhan then pulled back the curtain to reveal a Zebstrika with a necklace; which had a striped lighting bolt charm tied at the end. 

Then everyone, including Angel, screamed and cheered as Trink nodded, " My fellow teams! Today is a special one, this afternoon we are welcoming new Poke'mon into our guild!" Trink exclaimed, Poke'mon then cheered happily.

Then, Rose and the others appeared from the other side of the curtain, Teddiursa holding a blank expression on his face.

Rose's eyes lit up as our eyes met. 

"Eevee! Jake! Angel! There  you guys are! Come join us on the stage!" Rose shouted,  picking us with her ribbons, and placing us on the stage.

"This is mistress Trink, she runs the guild here!" Rose smiled turning to look at Trink for a second.

"Angel? We thought you wouldn't return. We all thought you went missing." Trink said to Angel.

"Well luckily I found these guys, they welcomed me and brought me home. Without them I'd someone's dinner I'm sure!" Angel playfully joked.

"Well then, let's continue with the ceremony." Trink softly nodded to Angel, turning to Kangaskhan, and pulling out a sack.

She walked towards the group, putting her head in the sack and pulling out a necklace with a black moon on it.

"Shadow, we welcome you into the guild. Take this soul stone as a welcoming gift." Trink said, lifting the necklace over Shadow's head, finally letting it drop onto his neck.

She turned back to the bag, bringing out a necklace with a leaf pendant at the end, she approached Genevieve."Genevieve, we welcome you into the guild. Take this soul stone as a welcoming gift." Trink repeated, lifting the necklace over Genevieve's head, finally letting it drop onto her neck.

Trink continued this, giving all every Eeveelution a necklace of their own, Rose had a red heart on hers, Jess a lighting bolt, Grace a snowflake, Matt a flame,and Isabelle's was an eye. 

"We all welcome you into the guild. Every time you wear these necklaces, you are a part of our guild." Trink finally said, turning towards us.

"Mistress Trink, where are our necklaces? Don't we get them?" I asked, a little jealous of everyone else's necklaces.

"Well, I didn't except you guys, I only made ones for these guys. Perhaps I'll make a couple for you two." Trink said, looking at me and Jake.

"What about Angel and Teddiursa? You didn't give them one." Jake asked, Trink smiled.

"They already have theirs.  Angel, yours should be with your group." Trink pointed out, Angel sighing in relief.

"And mine is right here." Teddiursa said, holding up his necklace, which had the normal type symbol on it."

I never really realized he had that, was it really there the whole time?

"ANGEL!?" A loud call broke my thoughts, we all turned to the path leading to us, there was a Flaafy and a Pikachu standing there.

"Madsie! Pikachu!" Angel shouted, hopping off the stage and running to her group.

We all followed, all wanted to meet these strangers.

When we caught up, Angel was hugging them both.

"I missed you guy so much!" Angel squealed.

"We missed you too! I thought you were dead for goodness sake!" Madsie cried, pulling Angel close.

When Angel was put down the Pikachu turned to her.

"You finally found us! Here, I kept it safe." The Pikachu smiled, pulling out a normal type necklace and giving it to Angel, she happily put it over her neck.

"Guys, I want you meet my friends. They helped me get here." Angel turned to us. 

"Hi! Nice to meet you guys! I'm Madise!" Madsie smiled, waving her tail in greeting towards us.

Pikachu turned to us, smiling. "Hey. Nice to meetcha!"

He exchanged glances to all of us, his eyes darting between me and Teddiursa.

"Finally." He says.
