Chapter 22

-2:10pm: Pokemon Camp-

I look at Pikachu with soft eyes, trying to hold back the tears that I've kept in for so long. 

I happily smiled, and ran towards Pikachu, meeting him in an embrace. As I felt his fur a tear shed down my cheek. I almost forgot how soft his fur was, I felt like I could never pull back.

"Pi..Pikachu...You're alive?!" I almost didn't mange to spit out the words among my tears, Pikachu giggled.

"Of course I'm alive! I thought I'd never see you again!" Pikachu purred.

"Uh...Eevee? Not to but in or anything but..you know this Pikachu?" Shadow asked looking at Pikachu's team.

"Oh course! He was the first Pokemon I met that showed me kindness, his trainer Red took me in, but I don't think his father approved of me. And then later on I got separated for him. And now.... we're finally reunited!" I purr, Pikachu smiling in response.

"Wow! What a lovely story! It's great that you two have been reunited." Rose smiled in response.

"Oh! New comers! I see that Mistress Trink has given you all soul stones, welcome to the guild!" Madsie smiled, her tail glowing faintly in greeting.

"Yes, they are quite lovely." Genevieve pointed out, looking at her leaf pendent.

Madsie giggled, "Just wait till you guy find you what they really can do!" Madsie tried to finish, but Angel put her paw over her mouth.

"Madise! You know that we can't reveal anything until they figure it out for themselves, you remember what happened last time right?" Angel quietly shushed her companion. Then turned to face the others.

"Why don't you all introduce each other, that way we can get along easily!" Angel spun around happily.

"That's a great idea, I'll start. My name is Rose." Rose smiled waving her ribbons in greeting.

"My name is Shadow, I'm the leader of the Eeveelution group you see before me." Shadow nodded, everyone rolling their eyes at his statement.

"My name is Isabelle." Isabelle nodded her head, her tail waving in greeting.

"I'm Grace and this is my sister Jess." Grace approached, her tail gesturing towards Jess, who puffed out her  spiky fur trying to impress Madsie and Pikachu. Grace rolling her eyes.

"My name is Matt, I mostly have the job of cooking and feeding everyone meals." Matt smiled, shaking his tail in a friendly manner.

"And my name's Genevieve, I'm the healer." Genevieve gave a polite nod.

Pikachu twitched his tail happily, "It's so nice to meet you all! Oh! By the way, you can call me Pikachu. I'm kind of the leader of the group." 

"Hello everyone! my name is Madsie! I'm kind of like the supporter in my group, you can always count on me to use helpful items and moves!" Madsie smiled, the blue orb on her tail glowing a bright blue color.

"And I'm pretty sure you all know me!" Angel giggled happily, giving a playful twirl.

"It's nice to meet all of you." Jake said dimly, approaching my side as he nodded to Madsie and Angel.

"I'm so glad we're back together Eevee, you've no idea what adventures I've had." Pikachu perked happily; addressing the others he said, "You guys must've had quite a journey. I think that Mistress Trink would love to have you guys as guest for dinner tonight."

"That'd be a great idea." Shadow pitched in, everyone nodding in agreement.

Afterwards, we all followed Pikachu and his group into the square; there were lots of pokemon gathered around a banquet table, piles of food surrounded the table.

"Welcome, please, sit in the front, you all are our guests of honor." Mistress Trink said, approaching us as we entered.

I took a seat next to Pikachu; after everyone was seated Mistress Trink began to speak:

"My fellow explorers and rescuers, we are all here not only to eat and celebrate our accomplishments, but we are also here to welcome new members into the guild." Everyone cheered as Miss Trink nodded towards my friends.

"Let us feast in honor of their welcome!" Trink exclaimed, everyone cheering before digging into the berries and other food available.

I quickly snagged a couple of berries, my friends following the same.

"Eevee, Jake, I believe these are yours." Trink said, handing me and Jake our soul stones as we ate.

"Sweet. Mine's silver, like me!" Jake exclaimed, looking at his normal necklace.

"Mine's cool too." I said; mine was the same as Jake's except mine was a brown color. I suppose shiny pokemon like Jake have different colored stones. That's nifty.

After the filling meal most of the pokemon departed. Leaving only my group and Pikachu's.

"Well it's getting late, we're going to head over to our shack. See you guys tomorrow!" Madise yawned, waving goodbye.

Pikachu walked over to me, nuzzling me goodbye before saying, "Goodnight, I'll see you tomorrow; again, it's great to be reunited."

I watched Pikachu  give a quickly friendly nuzzle to Teddiursa as well before regrouping with Madsie and Angel.

"You guys can all stay in the Pokemon Suites. Their hosted by a Chansey. Follow me." Mistress Trink said, guiding us to the small looking Pokemon Suites.

"Hello Chansey, these pokemon here all need room. I entrust you with their care." Trink spoke.

"Ah yes, of course! I have a few rooms available, but some of you might have to share a room. Is that okay?" Chansey asked.

"That's fine. I'm sure some of us can share." Shadow added on.

"Me and Jess will share a room." Grace said to Shadow, he nodded in response.

"Well I'm going. See you guys later." Teddiursa told me.

"But, where are you going to stay?" I asked him, I hope he has a warm house or something to spend the night in

"You don't need to worry about that." Teddiursa nodded, I watched a he bounded off on his own. Please stay safe Teddiursa...

"Okay everyone then it's settled." Shadow said, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Who am I rooming with Shadow?" I asked him in confusion.

"You'll be rooming with Jess and Grace. They said it was okay that you'd be joining them."

"But what about everyone else?" I asked

"Me, Jake and Matt are rooming together. We're the only boys so it only makes sense that we'd share a room. Rose is rooming with Isabelle and Genevieve so that leaves you with Jess and Grace."

I nodded and bounded inside the little tent to find Grace and Jess. Surprisingly, the inside of the place was really big compared to the outside. 

"Eevee! Over here!" I heard my name, turning to see Grace waving her tail over to her. I ran to her and Jess. Grace opened the door and we saw our rooms. It wasn't too fancy but it was really cozy. There were two giant woolly nests for beds and little decorations that were clearly made and not bought.

"Eevee me and Grace can share a bed, we'll give you the other bed okay?" Jess asked, hopping on the left side of the woolly nest.

"Yes, that's fine." I responded, plopping into the bed, and smiling as the warmth flooded over me.

"Goodnight Eevee." I heard Jess call before giving a tired yawn.

I sighed and curled up in my soft nest. Letting sleep overflow my senses.

"Goodnight."
