Chapter 18

-8:08pm: Night Camp/ Some forest-

We were all sitting around the fire started from Matt's flamethrower, we were all silent, I guess the day's work had gotten to them, and I don't blame them.
But it was Grace's voice who broke the silence,
" Thank you for dinner Rose, you and Matt did a fairly decent job. It was a pleasant meal." Grace turned towards the pair of siblings, Matt was the first to respond,
"We're glad you like it." Matt purred in response, swishing his tail to touch Rose's.
"Oh! Yes! Thanks for the compliment." Rose suddenly perked up, snapping out of her thoughts.
There was an awkward silence yet again.
"So..Eevee! Are you feeling better?" Jess asked, softly pawing at the grass below her. Rose perked her ears up, turning towards me with a soft smile.
" Yes actually! The herbs Genevieve gave me helped me sleep it off, Thanks for asking." I kindly purred back, softly glancing at the Buneary next to me, I felt bad for her. She's definitely been through a lot.
"So, do you have a nickname? Or do you prefer Buneary?" I asked her, swaying my tail with interest.
"My name is Angel." She droopily replied, her eyes still set on the grassy floor.
"That's a nice name." Rose added, glancing at Angel and giving her a soft smile.
Angel didn't respond, but I could tell that she was feeling a little bit better.

I woke to see a place resembling my memory place. I looked around me and saw the white and blue plants, their leaves still.
I looked ahead to see a familiar face.
"Hello Eevee. We meet yet again."
"Hello...James." I responded, I was confused, but this was my mind; so I didn't question it much.
" James, I don't know why I'm here, I thought you'd tell me something important. Isn't that why I'm here?" I asked.
" Your here for a reason Eevee. Listen to the spits. Let them guide you."
I closed my eyes, my mind blank, yet a spark sizzled and cracked in my mind.
" Why- Why don't the others know who you are? You are a part of the Clan right? I know it was you who saved me from the fire! I saw you!" I asked, questions now swirling around my mind.
" There's much you can't learn at this time my friend. Not when your mind is so fragile..." James responded, shaking his head.
James began fading away.
"Wait! James I have one more question! Wha-" I started to ask, but James interrupted me.
"Follow the silver Angel to find the one you seek..." James whispered to me, before he faded away.

- 6:52am: Night Camp/ Some forest-

My eyes jerked awake, I turned my head to see the rest of the group, they all were asleep.
I stretched, but I was stopped by a force. Jake.
I sighed, and managed to push him off.
I then stretched again and walked towards the fire, or well, what was the fire.
I looked around, stopping when I spotted Angel, she was sleeping with Rose.
"Huh." I sighed, this wasn't something I expected to happen. But it is what it is I guess. I mean Rose is that kind of Pokémon.
"I might as well get food." I told myself,  walking toward the forest.
"Where are you going Eevee?" A drowsy voice stopped me in my path.
I turned to see Teddiursa, he was rubbing his eyes.
"I'm getting food. Wanna come with?" I asked him.
"Ya sure. Wherever there's food. There's me." Teddiursa happily growled, stretching before catching up with me.
I smiled as we walked towards the forest.
" So, I didn't think you'd get up first. Don't Teddiursas sleep for long periods of time?" I asked him teasingly.
"We do, when we're not hungry." Teddiursa responded, chuckling.
" So Eevee how's it been?" Teddiursa asked.
" Okay I guess." I responded.
" Have you...heard from Pikachu?" Teddiursa asked me, keeping his eyes on the forest as we got closer.
"No." I shook my head in disappointment.
"We'll find him." Teddiursa told me, a glimmer of hope in his eyes.
" Teddiursa...on my adventures, I encountered a Teddiursa camp. When I got there. The leader told me they killed a Pikachu that was in their territory. " I told Teddiursa, tying not remember that horrible memory.
"Eevee...let's not give up hope! There are millions of Pikachus out there." Teddiursa told me.
"I guess your right. I assumed the worst." I replied, Teddiursa giving a warm smile.
I stopped realizing that we were in the forest.
"Woah.. where are we?" I asked him, looking around.
"I don't know" Teddiursa responded shrugging his shoulders.
"Should we track back?" I asked him.
"Psh, no. Not until I get something to eat. I'm starving!" Teddiursa said, I chuckled in response.
"Well, let's find some food, the rest of the group will be wondering where we went." I smiled, Teddiursa doing the same in response.

- 7:28 am: Night Camp/ Some forest-

Me and Teddiursa returned with lots of food, Teddiursa holding more than me, while I only held a couple in my mouth.
As we walked I could see that everyone was up by now, Rose was the first to spot me.
"Eevee! We were worried! I thought you were Pokenapped or something!" Rose whimpered, wrapping her ribbons around me; checking if I was okay.
"I'm fine Rose, me and Teddiursa were just getting breakfast." I responded.
"Well, I'm just glad the two of you are okay.." Rose purred.

- 7:30am: Night Camp/ Some forest-

After we ate breakfast, we decided to get back on the road to Teddiursa's camp. It took us a while to pack everything up, especially the herbs.
"Hey Angel, are going to be coming with us?" I asked her, Angel looked at me briefly before nodding her head.
" Just for a little while, until I find somewhere to settle. Besides, if that Growlithe lives here, its best if I leave" Angel smiled, I did the same in response.

- 10:30 am: Some forest-

We've all been walking for hours, and it seems that we'll never stop walking at this rate.
"How much farther do we have to go?" I pant, asking Teddiursa.
"We're almost there, I recognize this part of the wood." Teddiursa happily responded, I heard a few sighs of relief.
" Good. I've never walked this much. " Jake heaved, stretching out his paws.
" Well get used it guys. Because once you become a part of the Guild, you'll never stop walking." Teddiursa smiled, he seemed unfazed by all the walking we've been doing.
"Guild? What's a Guild?" I asked, Rose chuckled softly.
" Ah, the Guild. That's some nostalgia right there." She smiled, her ribbons weaving happily.
"I wonder, is Wigglytuff still the Guild master?" Shadow asked, a few others tilting their heads in curiosity.
" Well yes, no? I don't know. You see, the Guild banded a union with rescue groups. I don't see him often, sense he works at the Guild down by the beach in Sinnoh." Teddiursa responded, shrugging his shoulders.
"So who runs everything in Kalos?" Grace asked, curious.
"Well right now, Mistress Trink runs the place, but she takes orders from Wigglytuff. He's basically the big boss, all the other leaders take orders from him." Teddiursa explained, everyone nodding their heads.
"But how do you guys know about Wigglytuff?" Teddiursa the group.
"Well, we used to work there, as explorers that is. Way back when everything was run by Wigglytuff, we didn't have separate leaders. Or rescue teams." Genevieve explained.
"So everything was a single unit? Then how'd you travel from Sinnoh to Kalos? It's long ways away." Teddiursa asked.
"Not exactly, we did have different camps in the other regions, Wigglytuff just ruled over it all. We usually got his orders from letters delivered by Pokémon from other regions." Shadow told the group. Teddiursa nodded in response.
"So, did you give up being adventurers?" Teddiursa asked.
"We all quit for different reasons. But I guess we all just couldn't follow through with certain things." Shadow responded, the rest of the group silent. As if they all had something to hide.
