Chapter 11

-5:00pm: Eeveelution Base Camp\ Kitchen & Dinning Room Entrance-

A slowly walked towards the dinning area, my tail twitching nervously.
When I walked up the dirt road, I was greeted by Jake; he was wearing a bright red bow tie, his eyes growing large when he looked at me.
"W...Wow Eevee, you look...." Jake paused, his cheeks glowing a faint red color.
"Look...?" I asked him, my eyes looking around in confusion.
"Beautiful..." He finished, his eyes sparking like the night sky's stars.
"Thanks. You look nice too........" I replied, my eyes widening when it clicked.
"B.... Beautiful?!?" I stuttered, my face growing hot with embarrassment.
Jake looked at me surprised, as if he broke away from a trance.
"Sorry! That just came out...." Jake apologized, " I'm so sorry! It's hard ato keep the truth to myself sometimes!" Jake blurted, panic hinting in his voice.
All of sudden a hear music, werid music.
Shallallala I don't mind come on, don't be shy, you gotta... kiss(k) the girl~
Jake's face grew red, even more so than before; his silver fur was bristling and he covered his paws over his face.a
I turned to see where the music was coming from.
I looked over to a small bush, when I walked towards the bush, the music got louder and louder.
When I got close enough, I opened my mouth, the shadowy ball growing bigger as I charged it.
Then I threw the ball into the bush, a small boom echoing through the sky.
My ears perked up, someone countered my Shadow ball? I asked myself, puzzled.
The attacker slowly came out of the bush, her bright blue eyes flashing with worry.
"Eevee! I'm so sorry I attacked you, are you hurt?" Rose apologized, her fur almost covered with leaves.
So Rose was the one in the bush, what was she doing?
"I'm soooo sorry, It was a reflex I swear, I had no intention to hurt you with Psyshock." Rise continued, wrapping her ribbions around me in a loving embrace.
Rose turned and started to bush the leaves off her body as Jake approached us
"Rose?! So you were the one interrupting me and Eevee?" Jake growled, his teeth almost visible.
"Calm down Jake, we don't want any Yanderes here." Rose said jokingly, her ribbions patting Jake's head.
"Whatever..." Jake mumbled, his eyes looking off into the sunset.
"So...uh...what were you doing in the bush anyways?" I asked Rose, trying to change the subject before the tension rose higher than it already was.
"Oh!" Rose spoke, her voice filled with excitement.
Rise turned to reveal a small rectangular device, It was pink and had a white circle with little symbols on the bottom.
"What is that?!" I shouted, I've never seen some thing like this, did it belongs to a trainer? If that's true, does that make Sylveon.....
"What you were hearing was the Little Vaporeon soundtrack!" Rose squealed, breaking me from my thoughts.
Me and Jake looked at eachother, confused.
"Anyways the food's almost ready, we should get going." Rose commented, walking up the path where the dinning area was.
I nodded and followed, Jake close behind.
When we reached the dinning room, my eyes widened with shock.
Lanterns where scattered around the area, with ribbions hanging on the trees, creating a festive and pleasant atmosphere.
"Rose there you are!" A Flareon said, walking towards Rose.
"Oh, hello Matt." Rose smiled at Matt.
"Eevee, this is Matt, he is the chef in this house..... sometimes." Rose purred pointing her ribbions pointing at him.
"He's also my little brother." Rose whispered, leaning towards me with a cheeky look on her face.
"I herd that Rose, and don't call me little, we're not children." Matt sighed.
" Well, one of us still hadn't grown up. Right? Little  brother?" Rose teased, a chuckle emerging.
Matt rolled his eyes, ignoring Rose.
"Let's go." Matt said, gesturing his tail towards the table.
Rose followed behind as she watched me and Jake sit down; I sat at the end chair, with Jake sitting next to me(on the left chair).
Flare nodded and went back to the kitchen with Rose.
"Eevee..." Jake softly called.
"What is it?" I replied, looking at Jake.
"W...where did you come from?" He softly asked, looking down at the table.
A froze, closing my eyes and remembering what had happened.
" I used to be a trained pokémon, I had a kind trainer with a kind......." I stopped, looking at the table.
"Partner, we got away from some horrible people who had stolen some sick pokemon from the Pokémon center. A kind Teddiursa went along with us as we tried to help him find his trainer along with ours, eventually we all passed out, and then I was taken away." I stuttered, remembering our adventures.
"Eevee...." Jake's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"I see that soft look in your eyes... Did you have... affections for this pokémon?" Jake's voice slowly got quieter, his low voice giving me a soft chill.
" Who was the partner?" Jake asked, returning to his usually cheery self.
" He was a P... Pikachu." I managed to answer, looking at Jake.
Jake narrowed his eyes, as if he knew something I didn't.
"I landed in that Teddiursa camp; where James found me.."
Jake looked at me in confusion.
"Who's James?" He asked.
" The Vaporeon in your camp, his name is James." I replied looking at Jake.
"But... we don't have a Vaporeon in our camp." Jake corrected me; he still looked confused.
"He was with a Jolteon when I met him." I replied, confused.
"Oh! You mean Jess?" Jake purred, twitching his ears.
"Jake, Eevee." A stern voice broke me from my thoughts, I turned to see Isabelle and Shadow; Isabelle had jewels aligned on her forehead, and Shadow wore  a classic red bow tie.
Shadow nodded towards us before sitting at the end , sitting next to the end chair and next to Isabelle, who was on his left.
Rose stepped out of the kitchen, seeing who had just arrived.
"Oh great! I was hoping you guys would come!" Rose happily chirped.
"Of course, we couldn't miss this for the world!" Shadow happily replied, Isabelle looking daggers at Rose as Shadow softly replied to her.
"We're here!" A happy voice cheered.
Inturned to see a Jolteon and Glaceon.
The Jolteon wore a a black scarf, while the glaceon wore dark icy blue jewelry and decorations over her body resembling diamonds.
" That's Jess." Jake whispered to me, pointing his tail towards the Jolteon.
"And that's her step sister, Grace." Jake said, pointing at the Glaceon.
I nodded, watching the two sibling make their way towards the table.
The both sat across from eachother;Grace sitting next to Isabelle, and Jess sitting next to Jake.
Genevieve slowly emerged from the shadows, she had a pink flower in her right ear, she sat across from Shadow and next to the end chair.
I looked at the empy seat between Genevieve  and Jess, Maybe Rose is sitting there?
I watched as Rose and Matt held plates of food; berries, puffs, bread, and many others things a pokémon would love to devoir.
Matt sat next to Grace and me, faintly blushing when he glaced at her.
"Brb guys, I need to get my festival bow!" Rose exclaimed before bounding towards the ferns.
It was about a minute or two before Rose finally appeared, she wore a jeweled necklace, a few small ear pieces, and a sunset colored ear bow in replacement of her usual bow.
" How did you change your bow? Isn't it like, a part of your body of something?" I asked as she passed the others to get to me.
"Mmmmmaaaaaaaggggiiiiiiiicccccc." She whispered in my ear before quickly sitting in the end chair across from me.
I looked at the empy chair in confusion.
"Is James coming?" I asked.
Everyone froze from getting their food, looking at me in shock.
"What was that sweetie?" Rose clarified, looking confused as well as worried.
"James? You know, the Vaporeon that saved me in the fire." I answered, hoping to get some answers.
"Jess right? I saw you and James approach me in the fire." I spoke, looking at Jess.
"What? It was Rose who approached you with me." Jess corrected, her voice stern.
"Yes, you must have been hallucinating, It was Jess and I." Rose said, the cheery and happy tone unusually missing from her voice.
I looked down at the table is disbelief, how could they not remember James?

-10:00pm: My room-

I layed in bed, looking at the wall, hallucinating?! Me?!
I snapped out of my thoughts when I herd a knock on the door.
"Come in.." I said faintly.
The door opened with a creek as Rose stepped into the room.
"I came in here to see if you wanted me to tuck you in." Rose softly whispered.
"No. I'm ok." I replied.
"What's wrong my child?" Rose said, brushing her ribbion again my head.
"Why didn't anyone know who James was? He's real!" I softly exclaimed.
Rose sighed, hugging me before pulling away.
"Don't worry about it now, your safe." Rose reassured me before closing the door.
I looked the floor before closing my eyes and falling into a deep sleep.
