Camp Half-Blood

John

Today started off as normal. I walked towards the pavilion to get breakfast. Once I got there I sat down and started eating.
"So hey whats up?" I ask.
"Nothing much." Answered Layla.
I looked over at her. She was shorter than me. I'm 5"6 and she's 5"2. She has medium length wavy blond hair. She has light brown eyes and has a slightly tan complexion she has been here a year at camp. While I've been here for three.
I realised that I had zoned out until she talked.
"So do you want to go practice sword fighting?" She asks.
"Um yeah sure." I say. I finish my breakfast and we start heading to the training area.
"So I have something to tell you." Says Layla while we were putting on armor. "I-"
"John come quick there's an emergency". Says one of the guys that was keeping guard of the Golden Fleece.
I start running after him. Once we reach the top of the hill I look towards the beach. One of the satyrs was carrying a girl. A little kid was running in front of him.
The little kid comes on top of the hill first. He has light brown hair with blue eyes.
"Please help!" he says. His eyes filling up with tears. "I cant loose my sister either."
I was about to ask what he was talking about when Aaron runs towards us.
"Help me" he says out of breath.
I get the girl. She has long dark brown hair. She has a nice tan complexion. But then I realise her shirt was ripped and her stomach had claw marks which were bleeding.
Aaron, the little kid and me run towards the infirmary.
I put her down on an empty bed. A person rushes over and starts tending to her wounds. I look over at the little kid he had what looked like ashes all over him as well as the girl. He had a small bruise on his forehead but other than that he looked ok.
"What happened?" I asked.
"I don't know what happened but our house went out in flames and I tried to get to my mom but I didnt make it. I woke up outside with Alexus crying." He says. "Then we went to the school and something attacked us and Aaron bought us here."
He didnt explain much but I had to get him to Chiron.
"What's your name?" I ask.
"Jace." He says.
"Well my name is John and I'm going to take you to Chiron he can take care of you." I say.
He looks over at his sister.
"She will be ok." I say. "Cmon."
I take Jace to Chiron who was teaching some Hermes kids how to shoot arrows.
"Chiron this is Jace. He just came to camp along with his sister. I don't know who their godly parent is." I say.
"Where's the girl?" He asks.
"She's in the infirmary. And her name is Alexus." I say.
"Well I guess we will have to wait for their parent to claim them tonight." He says. "Come with me Jace I'll get you cleaned up."
I walk back to the infirmary and I see that Alexus looked much better than earlier. Her clothes were changed and the color was returning to her face.
I sit by the bed waiting for her to wake up.
Suddenly she bolts up from the bed frowning. She was about to get up when I grab her arm. She turns around and I see the most beautiful blue eyes, ever. They looked calm and peaceful, like the sea.
"Be careful. " I say.
"Who are you?" she asks.
"My name is John." I tell her.
"Where's Jace?"
"You mean the little boy? He's with Chiron. He's taking care of him don't worry." I give her a small smile trying to reassure her.
"Where am I?" she asks.
"You are at Camp Half-Blood." I say.

We were walking towards the Big House when I feel someone hug me.
"Hi John" says a voice. When they let go I see Layla.
"Oh hey Layla. This is Alexus she's new to camp." I say.
Layla frowns as she looks at Alexus.
"Hi." Says Alexus.
Layla takes a few moments to answer.
"Hi nice to meet you." Her voice not sounding cheerful as always.
"I'll talk to you later. I have to take her to Chiron." I say.
"Ok see you later." She says.
On the walk to the Big House I notice Alexus acting differently. Maybe Layla's sudden change of attitude had to do with it.
We walk inside the Big House.
"Alexus!" yells Jace. He runs towards her and Alexus picks him off the ground.
"Jace are you ok?" She asks. She frowns at the bruise he has on his forehead.
"Yes I'm fine. Chiron is really nice." he says smiling.
"That's good." She says. She looks at Chiron and asks. "What are we doing here?"
"You and your brother are demigods. Offspring of one of the gods. "He says. "We will find out who is your godly mother of father are during dinner."
The moment he says that the alarm for dinner goes off.
"Cmon I'll introduce you to everyone." He says.
We walk towards the dining pavilion. Everyone was already there at their tables with their food.
"John go eat dinner. I'll introduce them." Says Chiron.
I head towards my table. Where I have dinner by myself.
"Attention! Tonight we have two new demigods at our camp. Alexus and Jace!"
Everyone starts talking and asking who their parents were.
Suddenly everyone gasps. I look at the symbols above their heads. It was a lightning bolt.
"Behold the children of Zeus!"Says Chiron still in shock.
Jace grabs hold of Alexus hand.
"Do you know what trouble it can cause the camp?" Asks someone. "Three children of the Big Three here at camp is really dangerous."
Suddenly a piercing howl goes through the night. We all look around and we see a werewolf at the top of the hill. It comes charging towards us. In instinct I grab my sword. It keeps running towards Alexus and Jace. Everyone is running towards their cabins to hide. Chiron steps in front of them but it's no use the werewolf jumps over him. I start running towards but Alexus gets out a sword. But she wasn't fast enough. Just as it was about to get Jace, Chiron gets it with a silver arrow on its back. It stopped and howls in pain. I get there and finish it off.
"How did it get inside the borders." I ask.
"I don't know. The borders are still intact someone must of let the creature in." He says.
