Chapter 21: Finally

(y/n)'s pov.

I was sitting at home. Rogue wasn't with me. I asked him if he could bring me chocolate. I really wanted chocolate. After 10 minutes i felt something weird. No...not now...Rogue isn't here...not now...

I tried to contact Rogue with the communication lacrima but he forgot it home. I tried to call Yukino. She was at the guild.

"Yu-Yukino..." I tried to say.
"What is it (y/n)?" she replied.
"The babies are...coming...now...and Rogue isn't home..."
"WHAT!!! I'm coming...and I'll tell Sting to search for Rogue."
"O-ok...but fast..."

After 5 minutes Yukino was there. She took me to the hospital. I wanted to wait till Rogue come but the doctor said it would be dangerous to wait.

Sting's pov.

I ran into almost all the city to find Rogue. Then in a shop, I saw a groop of thief. Before I enter the shop I saw cops comming. After they arrested the thieves I walked in the shop and saw...Rogue...or should I say...Rogue's corpse...wait...is that even real...it can't...it can't be...it can't be real...

If I react this bad at this news...how will react (y/n)? I know it's not really the moment but I'll tell her...
I walked to the hospital and saw her holding two babies. She was smiling but I could see she was sad because Rogue wasn't with her.

(y/n)'s pov.

"(y/n)...I need to tell you something..." Sting looked really sad.
"What is it?"
"Rogue...is dead..."
I felt my heart breaking into pieces and burning into ashes.
"Wh-what? N-no...no...no..." I was crying a bit not being able to trust him.
"I found him in the shop...killed...there was thieves and...i guess they killed him...I'm sorry for you (y/n)..."

I exploaded into tears as the nurse took the twins. I told Yukino and Sting to leave. I needed some time alone. I wanted to die. What was the point of living without Rogue? There's absolutely no meaning of a life without him. But then...I heard the cry of the twins...i don't want them to loose both their parents...I'm gonna stay strong...and stay with them...until they're old enough...then I'll leave...to join Rogue...I'll soon join you...
