Kirk's POV

"I shouldn't have left Krystine." I said to Bones, realizing the danger I may have just caused.

"Jim, don't worry. Chekov is there." He responded looking over at me while pulling a branch out of his way.

"I know, I trust him it's just, what if a huge army ganged up on them?"

"They have phasers Jim."

"Bones why did I just do that?"

"Because it was the right choice."

"Are you sure?"

"Positive."

I let out a sigh. I felt completely stupid for letting myself do that. I just put both Krystine's and Chekov's lives in danger.

"Jim!" Bones shouted. He was waving his hand in the air as to direct me over to where he was standing.

"Really Bones? A cave?" I asked sarcastically trying to see inside the entrance.

"I'm going in." He replied stepping into the cave. I followed. Within 10 seconds, we came into a bridge of a starship.

"The USS Franklin." Bones called to me. I turned around to see that he had dusted something off. That name seemed, familiar. Then it came to me.

"Wasn't this the ship that Scotty flew in?" I asked Bones.

"My God, yes. This is it." Bones said while looking round amazed.

I sat down in the Captain's chair, trying to think. "If we could get Krystine and Chekov here, and have Spock and Scotty snap out of, well, whatever they're in, we could get this thing flying! We could rescue the whole crew and get off this island and back to Starfleet Headquarters!" I exclaimed, satisfied with my success.

"Alright so do we just wait here and hope they all come to us?" Bones said, suddenly standing right beside the chair.

"No, but we at least have to spend a little time here to try and figure this thing out." I replied.

Bones sighed. "Good enough for me."

Krystine's POV

I could feel someone shaking my shoulder. Why. Why must I be disturbed when I start to get into a good sleep? I was exhausted from everything that had happened today. I opened my eyes to reveal a black sky. Wow it's night already. Out of the blue Chekov's face appears.

"Krystine, you have slept for an hour." He said looking at me.

"Five more minutes?" I asked, holding up my hand.

"Krystine ve need to find ze Captain and Bones."

"I thought they would've come looking for us?"

"Zey haven't yet, and zat worries me."

"Oh." I said, stunned that they hadn't come back for us yet.

I stood up and brushed my jacket and pants off. "So where should we go?" I asked.

"Vell zey valked zis vay." He said, pointing in the direction of where they left us. I nodded my head and followed him.

Kirk's POV

"No no no. Bones, that's not right. Try something better." I said rubbing my forehead in frustration.

"Dammit man, I'm a doctor not a miracle engineer!" Bones yelled at me.

"Well, I'm sorry, you don't exactly strike me as the I'll be gentle let me just take your temperature type."
