Sulu's POV
Jim, Krystine, Spock, Bones, Chekov, and Scotty didn't come yesterday. So far they haven't showed up today. I was starting to believe that they were dead. We were going to be stuck here forever. No. They can't be dead. It's easy to loose hope when you're trapped in a prison yard.
Two of Krall's soldiers came and opened the gate. They walked up to Uraha and I.
"Come." The one spoke.
We were lead back to Krall. To the same place where we were asked about the others.
"Do you know why I took the crew?" Krall asked staring us down.
"Why?" Uraha asked placing her hands on her hips.
"In order to survive, I need, energy. Souls." He spoke. His last word made a chill go down my spine.
He walked over to a table that some sort of helmet was placed on. He took it, and placed it on his head. Two lights turned on and revealed two of the crew members behind glass, with the same helmets on. They stared at us and began banging on the glass.
"NO!" Uraha yelled at the top of her lungs, and went to charge at Krall. I held her back with all my might, knowing that she would die if she got anywhere near him. One of Krall's soldiers flipped a switch, and the helmets began sucking the life out of the two crew members. Their screams filled the air and Uraha began to cry. It was a shocking and disturbing sight, and I had to turn away.
Uraha looked away and placed her forehead on my shoulder. I kept hugging her until they were dead. Krall took the helmet off and shut the lights. We were lead back to the prison yard, and I sat on the ground with Uraha.
"This is what will happen to all of us." She said, tears still streaming down her face.
"No. That's the last time he will ever do that." I said confidentially.
"What?"
"Jim and the rest of them will save us."
"They must be dead. Why haven't they come for us yet?"
"They must still be looking."
"They're dead."
"Hey remember? We thought Spock and Scotty were dead. They showed up. And speaking of them, they must be with Jim, Bones, Chekov, and Krystine because I haven't seen them."
"You're right about the first bit. But the second, Krall must've killed them. Sulu, we're trapped here there's no way out."
"If there's a will, there's a way."
"I appreciate your optimism, but there's honestly no solution."
I felt defeated. Fine. Let her think what she wants but I know they're alive. I can feel it.
Krystine's POV
I looked through the large, glass window in front of me. Not too far from us, I saw what looked like a huge base with a prison yard. Wait. That was the crew in that yard!
"Down there!" I shouted, pointing in that direction.
Chekov took note and began slowing the ship down. I took the handle and began pulling it closer to me. The ship landed with a hard thump, then Scotty stood up.
"Alright. We need to start beaming the crew in here. I'll man the station. However, we'll need 'em out of the yard. It's protected by some sort of force field." He said, crossing his arms. "Oh, and this is an old ship. The transportation system isn't the best." He added on.
My dad nodded and began tapping his fingers on the arm of the chair. "Yeah Scotty, you stay in the transportation room. Spock, Bones, you go to the yard and get the crew out so they can be beamed. Chekov, Krystine, you're coming with me."
He then turned to Scotty. "What exactly do you mean, not the best?" He asked.
"I can only transport six people at a time." Scotty replied.
"Alright we'll get to it then." My dad finished.
Scotty ran out of the bridge and made his way to the transportation room.
"Dad? Where are we going?" I asked him, kind of worried about the answer I was about to receive.
"To find Krall." He said, pulling his phaser from his belt. Chekov followed, and I pulled mine from the holster on my leg.
"Get them out fast. You heard Scotty." He added, then ran out of the bridge, with Chekov and I trying to keep up.
Sulu's POV
I glanced over to the area that I heard a loud bang come from. I could see Jim, Krystine, and Chekov running out from the woods. Followed by Spock and Bones. They were alive! I knew it! I turned to Uraha to see if she could see them.
"I, uh, shouldn't have doubted you." She said, avoiding my gaze.
"It's alright. This whole experience gets to everyone." I say reassuringly.
I turned around again to see Spock and Bones standing at the gate. Bones pulled out his phaser and shot the locking system. It broke and he opened the gate.
"Everyone, get to the edge of the woods!" He shouted, trying to get the whole crew's attention.
We all began running to where Bones had directed us. Uraha and I made it there first. Suddenly, we, along with four other crew members began being transported. Seconds later we were in a transportation room, and Scotty was staring at us from behind glass.
"To your stations! We don't have much time! The layout if the exact same as the Enterprise! You won't get lost!" He announced then beamed six more crew members into the room.
I looked at Uraha and she nodded. We began making our way to the bridge.
