Krystine's POV

We finally made it to the mall. The biggest mall I'd ever seen! Oh there was so much stuff to see, so many stores to go into.

"Krystine." My dad said from beside me.

"Yes?" I asked.

"You pick out any outfit you want, alright?" He said to me while pulling out one of his credit cards. "Including shoes."

"Oh my God! Ok. Yes. Thank you!" I said practically jumping up and down with excitement. I took the card and entered the mall. I looked around and it was unlike anything I've ever seen. It was so, futuristic. And humongous. It would take a whole day to go in every store. I made my way over to a large directory screen, I knew what store I was looking for. City Starlight. The best teenage clothing store there was.

The screen showed that it was only a one minute walk. Perfect, it wasn't that far away. As I made my way to City Starlight, I looked up and saw my dad and Bones on the second level. I looked back down to see that I was right in front City Starlight. I entered the store and began looking around.

Kirk's POV

"I've never seen someone so excited about going shopping. Like, ever." Bones said as we walked to find ourselves a men's clothing store.

"She's a teenager Bones." I replied.

"Do you know where she went?"

"Yes. City Starlight. She loves that store."

"Here we go." Bones said to me, then stopped, staring through the entrance to a store.

"Nebula Port." I said, reading the name out loud.

We headed inside and began looking. Hopefully this will give the rest of the crew enough time to set up the gala building for Krystine's graduation party.

After a while of searching, I had finally found and tried on a brown leather jacket, black pants, and a white t-shirt. Bones came out of the change room with white pants, and black t-shirt, and a navy military-style jacket.

"Am I fashionable enough to meet your standards?" He asked sarcastically.

"Yes. You look absolutely fabulous Bones." I replied with a laugh at the end. He just smiled and rolled his eyes.

We paid for our outfits and went to find Krystine. We got into City Starlight, but couldn't find her anywhere.

"I thought you said she would be here." Bones asked me.

"Oh right. I told her she could get shoes. But I have no idea where that would be." I said back.

"Well that's just typical." Bones said, looking around.

I pulled out my communicator. "Krystine where are you?"

Her excited voice came through. "I'm at Avant Garde. I'm trying on shoes. But I'm stuck there's two pairs that I really like and I can't decide on which one."

"We're coming." I said, putting my communicator away. Bones and I began making our way there and I could feel him looking at me. I looked over at him and he was looking at me like he was surprised.

"What?" I asked.

"Designer shoes Jim."

"So?"

"So? So what are you teaching your daughter?"

"Bones calm down. She just graduated from something that's very hard to achieve, and the past 48 hours haven't exactly been easy on her. She can get a pair of designer shoes."
